I stayed in the Camelot Suite, and the whole stay far exceeded expectations, from Ian's very attentive and helpful approach, even though he was on holiday himself! Wonderful quirky rooms and with so much to clean, it is amazingly clean everywhere!!! Great facilities and even great touches like fresh milk in the fridge, quality soaps/shampoo and fluffy towels. Do not miss out on this place!

Such a lovely apartment, very spacious both rooms and the living area. Lovely log fire which made it feel very homely giving it a log cabin feeling. Decorated beautifully. Right on the high street opposite a bakery with lovely sweet and savoury snacks. Easy to access the apartment following the instruction from the Host. Jane was great and quickly communicated on any questions I had. Able to drive to the peak district within 14 minutes but local walks from the apartment without getting into the car. Had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

If you’re looking to treat yourself, a high-end hotel will provide that extra something special to make your trip even more memorable. These five-star properties feature lavish luxuries such as on-site restaurants with sweeping city views, in-room massage and spacious private terraces. They often have a central location which makes exploring the main sights a breeze.
We stayed in a large room which was very clean with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Although there were other guests in adjacent rooms we didn't hear them - it was so quiet. Breakfast was excellent, we both had a full English, cooked to perfection and the coffee was nice and hot unlike other places we have stayed at. Overall we couldn't fault it, the staff were very nice and we would gladly recommend Whitethorn Farm to anyone considering staying there.
Very luxurious and beautifully fitted throughout to the highest standard. Genuinely 5 star. Huge room, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and mainly very quiet. The large bar area is really nice and very popular. The Italian restaurant is very good and the whole place is excellent value for money both for the accommodation and the food and drink. The staff were very efficient and very friendly. Would certainly stay again and recommend.
Comfortable room, TV a bit small but it did have Netflix. Plenty of parking, nice people. Superb food - breakfast absolutely outstanding, with top quality ingredients, very well prepared. Recommended.
Everything, the room was luxurious and exceptionally clean and spacious, the Staff could not do enough for you and the location was excellent, breakfast was of top quality produce.
A lovely stay at the Lion and Swan, beautifully furnished hotel and excellent service from all of the staff. Delicious very generous breakfast served with a smile. My room, although small, was lovely and very clean with nice extra little touches like fresh coffee and fresh REAL milk in the mini fridge! I would have given 5 stars all round but my bed was not the comfiest so didn't sleep very well but overall a very pleasant stay, will definitely return.
