Lorne House is a Victoria villa, in the Wiltshire village of Box, just 6 miles from Bath. Free WiFi and onsite parking is available.

Each room has an en-suite and is either a bathroom or wet-room. Tea/coffee making facilitird, a hairdryer, flat-screen TV and ironing facilities are provided.

Our stay at Lorne House exceeded our expectations. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was exceptional with lots of added extras that made it even more comfortable and the breakfast was ready as soon as we came down for it. There was easy access to Bath with regular buses, (the bus stop was within a short walking distance, so it was not necessary to drive into the busy city). If we are in the area again we will certainly stay at Lorne House and will recommend it to our friends.

The apartment was bright, modern and chicly furnished. The internet was very good, an Alexa was available and the ponies next door not only put our daughter in a good mood. Especially great was the opportunity to make a campfire and grill marshmellows.

We were complimentary upgraded to The Manor Hotel and stayed in little cottage rooms which were very quirky with nice touches and a most comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast in the hotel was superb and the staff very friendly. The village of Castle Combe is beautiful.
