The B&B is ideally located within walking distance of the key sites, yet removed enough from the centre to provide a quiet spot to relax after a day of site seeing. The room was very comfortable, clean & beautifully decorated. However, what makes Chestnuts exceptional is the delightful host, Toni, & thoughtful touches such as the homemade sweet treats left in the room each day. It was lovely to have a small piece of cake with a cup of tea. It was also nice that there was fresh milk in the fridge. The breakfasts were extraordinary & among the best I have ever had at a hotel or B&B. I was surprised by the choice on the menu, allowing for something different each morning (e.g. delicious full English, eggs Royal with smoked salmon, eggs Florentine). Toni was easy to communicate with, prompt in responding to queries in advance of arrival & a wonderful host. It was a fantastic experience & we very much look forward to a future opportunity to stay at Chestnuts B&B again.

We loved the house, it was cosy and very well equipped with everything you might need. The neighbourhood was comfortable and quiet. We had breakfast in the garden with a stunning view on Bath. The beds were large and very comfortable. The location is superb, just a 5 minute walk to the town center of this beautiful city. We parked our car at the driveway of someone in the neighbourhood ( via app Just Park), because that was a lot cheaper than a permit on site. We loved everything about it and are ready to come back.
