    The Bay Tree is fabulous! Anita & Mick were very welcoming & informative from the start, and we immediately felt at home. The rooms & communal areas are finished to the highest standard and are kept immaculately clean by them both. Every last detail has been considered. The freshly cooked breakfasts by Anita were outstanding too and no request was too much trouble. Perfect hosts & a perfect stay. How refreshing! We would not hesitate to return & recommend.

    Stunning location, amazing layout, superb decor and it's definitely a little luxury from home! Feels grand just being in there.. kids were amazed by it all which is what we wanted too! We will definitely be planning a longer stay, that's for sure!!

    Location (for a visit to Alton Towers) was brilliant - the theme park only a 5minute drive. Great local evening eating options, but the breakfast was superb - there was nothing you could want for ! Everything a breakfast could possibly be - with the Full English cooked fresh to suit your every preference

    Margaret was lovely, very accommodating and nothing wasn't too much trouble. Arrived back late from Alton Towers and locked my key in my chalet and again, no trouble whatsoever. Food was exceptionaland the steak, was cooked too perfection. All in all, we will definitely be staying here again.

    I couldn’t fault this beautiful cottage. It was outstanding , beautiful, extremely clean and homely . Myself and my 2 children can’t praise the owners enough . This is the best place we have ever stayed at . Alton towers is literally a 5 minute drive away . Taxis were quite expensive for a 5 minute journey though ( £15) I was quoted (£30) at one point but this has no reflection on this outstanding peaceful property x Will most definitely be back Kindest regards Miss Lisa Lomax Maggie May & Josh Xx

    Margaret the owner was amazing host and so welcoming we had the best time, breakfast was very tasty and evening entertainment for both adults and children with pool table and darts was excellent. My son left his charger and Margaret went out of her way to return this by post to us, simply the best 5 stars ⭐️

    It’s cleanliness was superb. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including iron and inboard. Even had a dishwasher which was great on day of departure. The views were gorgeous, and waking up to the sounds of sheep and chickens was a wonderful experience. Distance to Alton Towers and choices of restaurants was more than perfect. The owner met us upon arrival and all covid regulations were adhered at all times.

    We were upgraded due to a medical emergency. Felt like royalty and treated amazingly. Everyone cared. Breakfast was superb, fresh and cooked to perfection.
