I spent 4 nights at Villas Kalimba with my kids (13 years old) and we loved it.
The villas are conveniently located across the street from a beach access which allowed everyone to come and go as they pleased, when they pleased.
The premises are cozy, well maintained, well equipped and offer a great relaxing atmosphere. It is a small compound where every villas has its privacy as well as having access to a pool and a good restaurant.
The staff is friendly, responsive and helpful.
From our standpoint, it was perfect and I would definitely go back there if I were to visit Samara again.

The accommodation was clean and the room had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the room was only a short walk from the pool and restaurant. Breakfast was delicious. A plate of fresh fruit with coffee, followed by a choice of cooked breakfasts was sufficient to keep us going. The staff were lovely, always smiling and happy to help with anything. The restaurant served delicious meals using locally caught fish and the brownie is the best we have tasted. The hotel sits between 2 lovely beaches that are easy to access and don't get crowded. There is a lot of wildlife around and the hotel is visited regularly by howler monkeys, motmots and iguanas. The hotel is a nice distance from Samara to avoid the hustle and bustle but near enough to walk into the town for a meal or shopping.

If you’re looking to treat yourself, a high-end hotel will provide that extra something special to make your trip even more memorable. These five-star properties feature lavish luxuries such as on-site restaurants with sweeping city views, in-room massage and spacious private terraces. They often have a central location which makes exploring the main sights a breeze.
The location was fantastic—quiet and beautiful but still close to town. The apartment was fully equipped and the AC’s functioned perfectly, which felt like a luxury. I especially loved all the animals next door, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly.
Breakfast is fabulous, very friendly people always happy to help with the tours and explanations, rooms are clean and comfortable, pool is outstanding, location is great: not too far, not too noisy. The garden hotel!
We loved the breakfasts! Something different prepared every day, they bring in chefs, everything is very tasty and beautifully presented. A very intimate setting too, great for chatting to other guests and the host, Jenna, who was enthusiastic and attentive.
Loved the hammock chairs, beautifully placed for watching the sunset.

Only about a 15 min stroll into town (I think quite a few reviews put this as a downside but it’s an easy walk), quiet location.
Thomas is a great host, I felt home the minute I entered his place, beach and ocean are footsteps away, the room is spacious, comfy mattress, the cats and chickens which call this place home are cute
The room was basic but clean. There was an adequate shared kitchen and lovely garden with hammocks and a jacuzzi to relax in when it was too hot for the beach . The property is just one block back from a beach generally safe for swimming, from where there are amazing sunsets. The location is very peaceful, well away from the bustle of Samara; we awoke each morning to the sounds of chickens, birdsong , and howler monkeys in the distance.
Lovely hosts, clean functional room with good air conditioning, lovely gardens and pool, convenient location for beach and restaurants etc. Wished we had booked for longer - can thoroughly recommend. 5 stars
This place is amazing, it's a nice place to relax and has all the advantages to enjoy the vacation!
Beside the place itself the staff is outstanding. Especially Peque went above and beyond! His skills for breakfast are superb and he provided us many recommendations for lovely and calm places around Sámara. And to top all of this, his friendly and sympathetic manner made us feel very welcomed at this place! Thanks for everything Peque!
The reception and the quality of service are comparable to 5 star hotels. Cold towel and welcome cocktail upon arrival, international staff who are very attentive, and Jennifer, the manager is particularly kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent with various bean bags and chairs in the shade facing the ocean. The hotel serves authentic Italian food and outstanding cocktails.
