Keswick
With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

We liked everything about our recent stay. Our classic room at the lodge was superb and had everything you could wish for. The views from the restaurant whilst eating a fabulous breakfast are great and get you in the mood for heading out for the day. All the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We stay in Grasmere a lot and will certainly be revisiting this hotel. If for any reason you don’t want to go out for the day your room and hotel offer plenty of facilities just to relax and unwind.
excellent family accommodation in the lodge with 2 bedrooms and a lounge area. Breakfast was excellent and dinner menu and food superb. Great bar and terrace for a sundowner. Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming
This was the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Room and view was fantastic in the suite, I’ve not had such a good night sleep in ages. Breakfast was delicious and filled us up for our adventure day. Thank you so much, we couldn’t recommend this place enough! 😊☀️
Accommodation was spotlessly clean, breakfast was the best we have had so far in our three weeks of travelling around the UK. Great shower with lots of hot water comfortable bed, quiet for sleeping, one cannot find fault with this accommodation
Beautiful accommodation. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were impeccably clean including the bathroom. Comfy beds. Lots of little comforts such as hot chocolates, heated clothes dryers (and they came in super handy!), power shower, blankets for out in the garden, umbrellas, extras for breakfast, biscuits in the room… lots of little things that just really made the Lodge stand out above the rest - and the garden… beautiful! Would certainly recommend and my parents are looking at booking here to stay later in the year too.
For what it is - an overnight hotel located directly on the M6 - the Days Inn Killington Lake was a very pleasant surprise. Good accommodation, clean, spacious room, secure parking, helpful staff, fair price, pleasant surroundings with peaceful views and nice walks. Most impressed and would definitely stay here again.
This bed is so comfortable, it’s like sleeping on a cloud! It’s our second time staying in this apartment, location is fab & the car charger is a massive bonus!!
What’s not to like? It has to be the best set up holiday accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly want or need was supplied. And anything we needed help with - Ruth was at the end of a text (& so patient, given the number of questions I had - it will less intrusive when you have your info book in the house) So comfortable & totally luxurious.
We usually stay in modern accommodation we really don’t like traditional however I chose this for the price. We loved it, such a grand looking hotel. Breakfast was lovely just wish we hadn’t eaten in the afternoon as the menu looked very nice. Had drinks in the garden and the bar very nice. We had an internal outlook however it still had a little balcony, lovely.
Excellent accommodation, Vanessa is brilliant. Pub across the road does excellent food. Vanessa rescued me straight away when I locked myself out of my apartment. The best holiday accommodation I’ve stayed at. Highly recommended.
