The staff is so friendly and helpful. Sir Max is the best host, who treats you like a friend. Very nice atmosphere. The breakfast is very good and the home roasted coffee excellent!

The lodge offers a sauna. The room was lovely and the bed was amazing. The air con and fan above the bed worked well. The staff helped me prepare a birthday surprise. Easy $10 taxi fare into town and the falls. Staff also helped coordinate transfer to/from airport along with booking say excursions. Balcony was a great size. Easy access to dining. Beautiful layout of wooden flooring built around trees - felt like a true lodge. Would stay again!

A safe 15-20 min walk to the center of the town and about 30 min to the falls. We were three people traveling together and were given ‘The Villa” which is a separate two-bedroom/two bathroom unit with its own little garden, highly recommended for families or groups of friends as it gives a lot of privacy. The breakfast and the drinks at the bar were great, we enjoyed chatting with Owen, the bartender, and Taku, the manager, who were also very helpful whenever we needed something. We loved our three nights at The Courtney Lodge and couldn’t have asked for a better start to our 3-week African trip

Victoria Falls Airport is 21 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Africa nature at it's best! Clean, easily accessible cottage. Very quiet, safe place to stay. Services were friendly, helpful and meals were delicious. Views of the bush with a pond! Sit on the front porch and see baboons, rhino, antelope, giraffe and Impala. What a treat! Will go back
