The attentive hostess will welcome you on arrival and escort you to your private cottage which features views of the mountains and the sea. Each cottage has a private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and semi-private terrace with its own BBQ. It was an incredible view right over the penguins, the host was so friendly and they were so welcoming to our toddler too. One thing to note is that it is a good idea to bring groceries if you don’t have your own car as it’s a bit out of the town and no evening restaurants nearby. We went to a little convenience store which was walking distance for the first night then used the Tuk Tuks for the other nights which worked well.

The elegantly decorated suites feature parquet floors and large windows. Each suite offers a balcony with views of the bay and comes equipped with air conditioning, a seating area and fireplace. The rooms were absolutely amazing. I have never stayed in a more beautiful hotel. Lots of history attached to this hotel which they tell you about on your tour to your room. Welcome drinks and beautiful sunset greeted us on arrival. Staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble to make sure we had an amazing experience.

This property features an outdoor swimming pool made of natural rocks, as well as a small stream running through the property. It is a little paradise, not far away from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town which you can reach in no time. Every detail is thought through in a caring way which makes one feel taken care of and save. Very friendly and attentive staff and host . Beautifully decorated rooms sytlish and comfortable.

All the staff were super polite and lovely. Room 8, was a very good room. Breakfast was also very good. Thank you to Frank and the team.
