Each unit consists of a bedroom, bathroom and living area and features a patio with views of the vineyards and Swartberg Mountains. The location is isolated, very close to nature feeling. The rooms are tastefully designed. More than anything we enjoyed the service. The staff do above and beyond to please the guests.

Breakfast is served on the verandah at the main house. Thabile Lodge also has a bar and offers 3-course dinners. The setting, vibe and room. Just fantastic! So restful

Situated at the waterside is one of the best a La Carté restaurants in the Southern Cape, where award-winning wines and Karoo cuisine made from fresh, local produce is served. Alongside the restaurant is a shaded deck from which spectacular views of the Swartberg mountains can be enjoyed and even hippos, Elephants, other wildlife, and bird species that visit the waterhole frequently can be spotted. Room service and a shuttle service are also available on request. Set 6.5 km from Oudtshoorn, Buffelsdrift Game Lodge is located just off Route 62. There is free parking on site and a shuttle is available on request from George Airport, 71 km away. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, amazing service from all. The tent was extremely comfortable, couldn't wish for anything better. The outdoor shower and big bathtub were a real bonus. Food was delicious. We were late coming from dinner to our evening game drive so they waited for us to come back and gave us desert back at our tent. Would definitely stay again.

All accommodation at A Hilltop Country Retreat is self-catering, and includes a kitchen with a gas stove and a refrigerator. Guests have the option of having the refrigerator stocked with breakfast items. Barbecue facilities are available to guests, and a packed lunch service is also offered. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The staff very friendly, helpful and waited till 8 pm. The house very spacious, however needs renovation or at least very good deep cleaning.

There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. We loved the attention to detail! Beautifully appointed, this guest Lodge lacks nothing. Our room was luxurious, the lodge itself spacious and well decorated. We loved the huge outside patio, perfect for lounging in the sun or stargazing at night. The hosts helped us with activities and restaurants. Good location . A very enjoyable stay!

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Everything was superb, the comfort and luxury of each lodge, outstanding food exceptional friendly staff. Charles who took us out on the game drives was exceptionally knowledgeable about the animals as well as the flora and fauna., and we had closer viewings of 4 of the big 4. We only missed seeing a leopard. This was a stay that will leave a lifetime of memories.
