Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Spent 5 nights at this fabulous lodge. We did a number of full day or half day activities which the proprietor helped to arrange for us and every detail was worked out, ensuring all we had to do was relax and be wowed. Returning to the luxury of the lodge and cooling off in the pool and the stunning grounds was a perfect way to finish off those days. We supplemented the chilling out process with drinks from the expertly curated selection of fine South African wines or beers, spirits and soft drinks. The interior of the lodge and the private suite could only be described as luxurious opulence furnished with many beautiful African artefacts. And as if all of that is not enough we enjoyed ample beautifully prepared and presented breakfasts. We were also privileged to play host to families of nyalas and warthogs who visited the area just outside our bedroom window and patio doors to feast on fallen amarula fruits. Wow wow wow !!!

We loved the lodge. It was a truly special experience. Everything. The safari, the food, the environment of the hotel, the facilities, the staffs. It is an expensive experience, but totally worth it if you have the chance to invest!
Probably the best part of our South Africa trip! Everything was perfect! The safari drives were amazing (shout out to Eric and Gideon), the room was spacious and clean, the food was excellent, and the whole lodge is very well kept and maintained. Highly recommended!
The view was amazing. The hippo's [and sometimes elephants, koedoes, crocodiles and impala's) roam around the sabie river that is right in front of the accomodation so its like going on safari. The arranged safaris with the Sabie River Bush lodge were amazing. The driver casca was very nice and could tell u a lot about the animals and he really tried (and succeeded) to find all the animals we could think of.
This place is amazing. Very nice lodges in an area surrounded with animals. The safari day tour is a MUST in my opinion, very nice guides and they know exactly where to look and come with very nice facts about the animals. Even the food was very good!
The highlights were the location of the Train above the Sabi River - unbeatable! Beautiful, well positioned pools, decks, bars and chill areas provide a world class safari and luxurious atmosphere. The food offering at all meals was the best we have experienced at any five star game lodge in South Africa - exceptional! Special dietary requirements are particularly well catered for and the all inclusive drinks policy is a bonus. Staff customer orientation is outstanding - all guest requests were accommodated with enthusiasm.
If Booking.com would offer to give more than 10 points for super extraordinary lodges than we would give here 12 points. Kambaku River Lodge is for a stay close to the Kruger Park just perfect. We spent 5 beatiful nights with delicious breakfast, dinner and wild animals just passing in front. We recommend also to book Kambakus Safari with most experienced Kruger driver.
We loved Tshukudu Game Lodge. Being on its on big 5 reserve meant every safari drive was right out the gate and there were so many different animals to spot! the staff were unbelievably sweet and helpful! The recently done swimming pool area and spa were so glamorous and lovely!
Val and Neil were perfect hosts. They made our stay so satisfactory by making us feel so welcome, attending to our needs and ensuring we had an amazing experience. Our guided safari with them was amazing and we felt their expertise and passion made our experience so memorable. We have stayed in several lodges and quest houses and we still rate theirs the most highly rated. The lodge, location, food and hosts will remain our favourite and most memorable. Thanks to val and neil for everything ! Fondly remembered always..
Great lodge in the middle of Manyeleti game reserve. Not a luxury accomodation, but very cozy and it has everything you need. The camp has no fences, so wild animals might stroll around, which makes it extra special. Our guide for the game drives was amazing and funny. We saw 4 of the Big 5 even though the weather was quite bad. The jeep has no roof, which is an advantage compared to other lodges, when it comes to game sighting and safari feeling. The food was delicious too. To sum it up, great camp!
We had such a great holiday there with all the experiences you want to have when booking a safari lodge. Compared to other lodges, I find the knowledge of the rangers particularly noteworthy. Warm hospitality, clean and beautiful rooms and delicious food also distinguish the lodge.
