Everything exceeded my expectations by far! Delicious food and amazing staff. Shout out to the super knowledgeable and fun guide Angela and the owner/manager/cook Ivonne who made everything she could to make our stay the best possible! I am coming back!!

Kapama River Lodges offer a range of air-conditioned suites all stylishly furnished and set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains. Each suite has a private bathroom fitted with a bath and shower and is complete with complimentary amenities as well as a minibar and coffee machine. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! food was great, drinks were included and we could not have asked for a more beautiful experience. the amenities (pool and spa) were stunning! Bedrooms were gorgeous with giraffes frequently walking in the background. the rooms were cleaned 2x/day and the staff were so friendly. definitely worth every penny.

Kapama Southern Camp arranges game drives in open safari vehicles, accompanied by experienced rangers. For relaxation, guests can read a book in the lounge or unwind in the pool. Guests at Southern Camp also have access to the spa and wellness centre and fitness facilities at a nearby lodge. Absolutely amazing. Food and accommodation was superb, but the game guide and tracker (Muxe and Eleck) and their spotting abilities made the trip. Highly recommended.

I could spend days writing about it but I’ll try to write a resume: The whole staff made us feel loved and taken care of. We were welcomed by Glen at our arrival. He explained everything we needed to know. The staff prepared a small cake and the staff sang for me in Zulu happy birthday on my first dinner night at Karongwe. It was truly magical. We stayed 2 nights at The Manor. The house was huge and it comfortably accommodated all the 3 of us. It had a private pool. We loved the amenities, there were repellent so we could use everyday, the housekeeping would prepare our beds for the night and leave slippers and chocolates with a kind message that would change every night. The food was superb. Everyday we could choose our breakfast, lunch and dinner from a menu. Honestly I hope everyone gets to try the Mint Pie that they served one day at lunch: one of the best things I’ve ever tried. The game drives was obviously the highlight: our ranger Geff and tracker Lucky were incredibly helpful and made everything so we could spot the big 5. We spot all of them with our 2 first game drives. It was around 36° and we could spot all of the big 5 real quickly. I got amazed how they tracked the 3 cheetahs at our first game drive. As days goes by, eventually the last game drive it could end up just your grup, at our last, Lucky came to me to check what we wanted to see since we’ve spotted already all the animals we wanted to. I told him we wanted to see a manada of elephants specially with baby elephants. They did it. Our safari was almost ending and they drove us on a trial that there were a full family of elephants. One of the most magical moments I’ve ever experienced. Hats off to Joanna (reservation), Glen (management), Geff and Lucky (game drives), Emily, Sharon, Otsu (kitchen) and everyone at Kuname Lodge. I work with tourism and the staff from Karongwe makes you feel so special that you don’t want to leave.

The Lion Tree Top Lodge is such a beautiful and special place within a nature reserve. The hosts and employees were so so lovely, the food delicious, the tree huts amazing.

Mbizi Bush Lodge serves a 3-course dinner and a full breakfast. Guests can relax on the terrace. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge. The property offers free parking. Great property and amazing views! The property had all the necessary amenities required and the staff were amazing and extremely helpful.

The tented chalets situated within the main lodge area come with a deck and a seating area. Certain chalets are equipped with a bath, shower and free toiletries, while one chalet, known as chiDanga, is equipped with an en suite shower which opens onto the deck. Location in the private reserve was fantastic with pool and a view to animals passing by. The two daily Game Drives were also fantastic with guides that have a high level of knowledge of all topics concerning the private reserve and animal life. We felt completely save eventhough we were very close to both lions, elephants, girafs and a lot of other animals. Food was delicious and well-prepared. Atmosphere at the bush lodge were welcoming and calm. At the bush lodge has in totale room for maximum 6 people which makes a friendly and close atmosphere. Our biggest compliments to Niel and Milly who made our 2 day stay unforgettable. We are definitely planning to come back and bring our family next time.

A terrace can be found at Karongwe River Lodge, along with a shared lounge. Everything was amazing, food, staff, room, Experience. The games were unbelievable and Sondy was an amazing Ranger!

Pondoro has three architecturally designed chalets overlooking the Olifants River. Each chalet has been beautifully decorated with an African theme. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms (with a shower and bath overlooking the river), lounge area, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and a wooden deck. Exceptional experience. Top-notch service, where every staff member attended to us with great attention and joy. Luxury restaurant. The spa is definitely worth visiting. The room was spacious, comfortable, super clean, and with an incredible view of the river (we stayed in the "water" room). The hotel manager who assisted us (Trent) went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. And the game drive (safari) offered by the hotel, we did it with Sally and Edson, who spared no effort to provide us with a safari including sightings of all the Big 5.

The Team will spare no efforts to provide you an unforgettable experience in this peaceful retreat. The Game Drives were unique and the bush dinners magnificent. I only find find good words for this place and will go back rather sooner than later.
