The staff is extremely accommodating, and above all, just wonderful! The guides are on a whole new level out here, they are very knowledgeable about everything in the Bush! Also, this was my friend’s first time in South Africa and he said that we couldn’t have had a better experience than Isambane! We give it 100 stars! The food was also excellent and be sure to try the best mojito I’ve ever tasted! Also! The beds were super comfortable! I am definitely bringing my whole family to experience how truly incredible the camp and staff are!

Kapama River Lodges offer a range of air-conditioned suites all stylishly furnished and set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains. Each suite has a private bathroom fitted with a bath and shower and is complete with complimentary amenities as well as a minibar and coffee machine. It’s hard to put into words the magic of Kapama. From start to finish the whole experience was wonderful, and every detail had been considered. Firstly the hotel is beautiful, lovely rooms, amazing spa and pool facilities. The food is some of the best we’ve ever had. We are a veggie and vegan and the chef went above and beyond to make sure we had the most incredible meals and our waiter Israel was the best!! He was always so friendly, welcoming and remembered what we liked! Then the safari- pure pure magic. The guide and tracker (Milton and Pardon) were exceptional. Super knowledgable, great energy and made sure we had the most memorable experience! All of the staff we encountered were so friendly! Overall the best place we’ve ever stayed. We never wanted to leave!!!

Kapama Southern Camp arranges game drives in open safari vehicles, accompanied by experienced rangers. For relaxation, guests can read a book in the lounge or unwind in the pool. Guests at Southern Camp also have access to the spa and wellness centre and fitness facilities at a nearby lodge. The accommodation was stunning, food was delicious, staff across all sectors were brilliant! Our Safari guides is what made the experience so incredible...Eleck & Lebu really made our trip so memorable! Karongwe Portfolio- Shiduli Private Game Lodge also includes an outdoor pool. We loved the safari experience where we saw all the big 5 and Hippo, Girafe, Zebras, etc. Guide and all the staff in general was extremely nice and made us have a really good time. We booked the superior room and enjoyed the private pool and the and the amenities of the room

Rates at Karongwe Portfolio - Kuname Lodge include all meals. Game drives in open safari vehicles at dusk and dawn are also included. Our whole experience at Kuname was magnificent. I could spend days writing about it but I’ll try to write a resume: The whole staff made us feel loved and taken care of. We were welcomed by Glen at our arrival. He explained everything we needed to know. The staff prepared a small cake and the staff sang for me in Zulu happy birthday on my first dinner night at Karongwe. It was truly magical. We stayed 2 nights at The Manor. The house was huge and it comfortably accommodated all the 3 of us. It had a private pool. We loved the amenities, there were repellent so we could use everyday, the housekeeping would prepare our beds for the night and leave slippers and chocolates with a kind message that would change every night. The food was superb. Everyday we could choose our breakfast, lunch and dinner from a menu. Honestly I hope everyone gets to try the Mint Pie that they served one day at lunch: one of the best things I’ve ever tried. The game drives was obviously the highlight: our ranger Geff and tracker Lucky were incredibly helpful and made everything so we could spot the big 5. We spot all of them with our 2 first game drives. It was around 36° and we could spot all of the big 5 real quickly. I got amazed how they tracked the 3 cheetahs at our first game drive. As days goes by, eventually the last game drive it could end up just your grup, at our last, Lucky came to me to check what we wanted to see since we’ve spotted already all the animals we wanted to. I told him we wanted to see a manada of elephants specially with baby elephants. They did it. Our safari was almost ending and they drove us on a trial that there were a full family of elephants. One of the most magical moments I’ve ever experienced. Hats off to Joanna (reservation), Glen (management), Geff and Lucky (game drives), Emily, Sharon, Otsu (kitchen) and everyone at Kuname Lodge. I work with tourism and the staff from Karongwe makes you feel so special that you don’t want to leave.

Set in Guernsey Nature Reserve, Lion Tree Top Lodge offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. The accommodation has a hot tub.

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving African cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. The location is great, surrounded by nature and just 30 minutes from Kruger Orpen Gate. The tents are beautiful and comfortable, cured in details (including electric blanket if it’s cold). The restaurant and the chef is amazing, best dinner during our travel! We only spent one night so we couldn’t enjoy activities proposed but Lynn and the staff are all super nice people. Wifi available only at the reception/restaurant so don’t expect to have it in the room ;).

Mbizi Bush Lodge serves a 3-course dinner and a full breakfast. Guests can relax on the terrace. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge. The property offers free parking. Most beautiful lodge in the middle of the wild nature, not fenced (which adds to the feeling of excitement, but the owners were very careful and made us feel safe the whole time). The design of the lodge is tasteful, in the spirit of Africa, elegant and calm. The nature around is simply breathtaking, and the most amazing thing is that animals come the lodge pool to drink water. Elephants, giraffes, zebras and more arrived. It's a magical moment when it happens. The room was comfortable, great bed, shower and AC. The owner of the lodge cooks incredible food, every day and every meal the dishes change and they are at the level of a gourmet restaurant. I have no words to describe how special the experience was, I'm so glad we chose to stay at this place, and I wish we had more time (I recommend booking a minimum of 3 nights). There is an option to take a game drive to watch the animals around, we did this twice and got to see lions, elephants, giraffes and quite a few other animals, highly recommended.

The tented chalets situated within the main lodge area come with a deck and a seating area. Certain chalets are equipped with a bath, shower and free toiletries, while one chalet, known as chiDanga, is equipped with an en suite shower which opens onto the deck. Not applicable as we stayed at self catering villa.

The game drives with guide Rifos and tracker Patrick were brilliant, they are incredibly skilled and showed us all the wildlife around. The food was delicious, the beds made up perfect daily. Can’t say anything negative about this place, it’s more than 5 stars.
