We were surprised by Knysna and this accommodation. The room is bigger then the pictures depict and super well equipped. The sight is stunning, you'll feel welcome and will be amazed by Knysna.

Location, location, what a spot! If you are looking to be away from the city, on the water and having access to a restaurant on site, this is the place to go. There are several other restaurants near by but will need to drive. Service is top notch, they have though of every details.

We were three couples, glamping in three safari tents. It was our first time at this Game Lodge and it was lovely. We have been to other lodges but this one was by far the best.

The highlight of our South Africa trip! Emily Moon River Lodge is an amazing property with the coolest boho decor and incredible lodges. We couldn't get over the views!! Grant was the friendliest host, reserving us a table at the popular Simon's Bar for pizza and live music, and recommending lots of things to do in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Absolutely unique in every way. Gorgeous big lodges right in the game drive with log burning fires. The guides work so hard here to ensure everyone has the best time, much appreciated.

Our 2-day-stay at the Game Lodge was the highlight of our vacation in South Africa. There were 4 safari drives included and we added a bush walk. We would especially like to mention our guide Hannes. He took an extraordinary amount of time for the drives and the bush walk and told us a lot about the animals, their behavior and the plants. You can clearly see that he burns for his job! :-) In the restaurant, a lot of consideration was also given to our vegan diet and we were always made a suitable offer.
