A barbecue is available for guests to use at the lodge. We received a warm welcome, friendly staff, excellent food. We had a nice big apartment with all the essentials we needed. They arranged for us braai meat as all the shop were closed due to the public holiday. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks

We stayed at Kalahari Lion's Rest after a trip to the Kgalagadi. It was such a treat to stay here after two weeks of camping! The rooms were very well decorated, clean, and comfortable. You can tell the hosts put a lot of work into giving this place a special charm and it certainly worked! They were able to accomodate safe parking for our car and trailer and also gave great dinner recommendations in town. We would definitely stay here again!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Beautifully decorated lodge located within 10 minutes of Augrabies Falls National Park. Very comfy lobby, dining, sitting and outdoor areas. Rooms were super spacious and very nicely decorated. Dinner was very tasty as was breakfast and the wine list was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is also a small asphalt landing strip next to the hotel for small aircraft in the event one wants to fly there. The house cat is also very friendly. :-) In short, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!
