We really enjoyed golfing. And we had a great time hiking around the lodge.
Gorgeous spot in historic lodge. A very welcoming place. Rooms had water views and comfortable beds. Shared bathrooms down the hall were clean and tidy. Fabulous dinner in the restaurant with excellent service. Coffee bar in the morning was very handy.
Was there breakfast? I wish I had known! I really liked the elk outside the hotel. That was an added bonus! The room and lodge itself were wonderfully decorated and very clean. My visit was very comfortable. Everything I came for.
We were on a hiking trip and spent a night at the Bavarian Lodge. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We weren't going to have time for their breakfast, so they arranged for a bagged breakfast to be ready very early for us. The room was comfortable and clean. The location couldn't be better, right across the street from the 2 restaurants we planned to visit.
This property was very clean and the rooms have been updated nicely. It’s true that sound seems to carry easily down the hallway but it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. The popcorn machine in the entry was a fun touch and the front desk people were kind and accommodating. There was a nice open space next to the hotel with grass and picnic tables and the restaurants in town were all very good. Packwood and Crest Trail Lodge would be my first choice for future stays in the area.
The location of the Channel Lodge is fantastic, so close to town and right on the water.
Beds are comfortable. Restaurant has really good food. It is set up like a lodge and many rooms have nice views of trees.
The breakfast is good. And tho location is great. It's just the room is smaller than I expected, but it's cozy and comfortable. The feel is like in Bavarian lodge.
the room was spacious & clean. The overall hotel design was great, with a real nod to the grand lodges found in many National Parks. Location is great, with easy access to multiple restaurant choices, catering for all tastes
Great location to Mt. Ranier. Pretty setting, Very quiet location, Bed Medium, spacious bedroom, small bath, good breakfast and coffee. Seemed to be a better place to stay than the large lodges.
