The chalet is even better then in the pictures as is the view, can not recommendt it enough, its better to check it yourself. The position ia great too with Bran, Magura and Pietrosu nearby.

Traditional place in a very nice location, remote but not very far from shops. We travelled during winter time and the place was very cosy and warm.

The lodge is set in a quiet picturesque village, with greenery all around. Here you will find everything you need for a confortable stay, with the added plus of some amazing antiques that give the house a special feel. "Traveland Alpina Resort" is a very nice place. Small wooden houses in the forest. The bedrooms are basic but the beds are very comfortable. The common room is spacious and it gets a friendly feeling. Very big and nice terrace as well. The young gentleman at the reception was very nice and kind, accepting our reservation immediately, close to midnight, after we had a trouble with a previous booking. We would be happy staying there again during our next Poiana Brasov visit.
Great location just below the base lodge and chair lift. There's a restaurant there plus a fun bobsled ride on a track. The lodge is very plain, not a lot of character, but the room was good. Our biggest complaint is the bathroom. The price is better than most in the area and the owner speaks little English. With 4 rooms on our third floor, we shared the bath with two of them. You get what you pay for.
We were a bit disappointed that the accommodation was not inside the castle but that was our misunderstanding though. We had the entire lodge for ourselves. Very clean, good toiletries and white sheets. Best smelling sheets ever :). All kitchen appliances are clean and of a good quality. Big and very comfortable bed.

The location is wonderful. We had one of the small lodges and the view of the mountains in the morning was great. The owners are very friendly. Our 4 legged family member was welcomed with no extra charges.
