Beautiful views from the balcony and patio over the ocean. The house is very well equipped and modernly renovate.
Extra plus is definitely a the free wine bar and newly made little pool to cool down.
Would definitely recommend this place.

The lodges are right up in the mountains but we had a car so no issue. Amazing walks on your doorstep and more 10 mins away. Nice and cool up in the mountains for sleeping. The host was very very helpful.
The location was just a short walk up the hill from Funchal old town. The apartment is really spacious and comfortable. The bed is lovely. Everything works. And it was great value for money. Funchal is a great base for exploring the island. We went to Reids' Hotel for afternoon tea, the tour of Blandy's Madeira wine lodge, the botanical gardens, two Levada walks - one guided and one we went to on the bus by ourselves, and a swim at the lido. The apartment was only a short walk away from lots of great restaurants too.

The perfect escape location with exceptionally high standard facilities. The lodge is huge and beautiful in equal measure. The perfect place to explore the Madeiran mountains but also if you're exploring Funchal but keen to have some serene evenings. We were able to cook our own food but enjoyed the cafe restaurant only 5-10 minute walk away (which does amazing hot chocolate!). The host was friendly and helpful. Please don't hesitate to book here.
Absolutely beautiful location, super sweet staff, and comfortable lodging.
We loved the central location on Zarco St near the waterfront, shops, Blandy’s Wine Lodge, and restaurants. The studio apartment was well equipped and would be a comfortable base for an extended stay. There is a supermarket about 1 K away. The apt is attractively furnished and everything at this time is still almost new. The photos of the unit are accurate. There is a balcony where we sat and sipped chilled Vino Verde and watched the street scene below. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would return again.
A very peaceful lodge, really ideal for those, who want to go on hiking tours. A very welcoming and caring host, who provides delicious breakfast every day. Felix even picked me up at the petrol station nearby as I arrived by public transport.
Localisation of Madeira Surf Lodge is great. A little paradise in his beautiful garden. It's a wonderful place to stay. We loved it.!
Excellent location and a very comfortable apartment. Easy walking distance from everything. The bedroom was at the back of the apartment and was quiet. Felt a bonus having a balcony. The Good Memories Lodge team were helpful and friendly. We will happily stay here again if we return to Funchal.
The Wine Lodges appartment has so spacius and romantic. Great for family or girl trip as the appartment come with a discount in the Brandy port wine store and tour. All the rooms were clean, beds comfertable and close to some of our favorite restaurants. The bathroom a womans dream.
