Amazing! Very nice and friendly owner with so nice and supportive staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast and there is a store inside the building. We highly recommended do staying there before going to Malapascua island!

Nestled among the lush palm trees in Moalboal, Tongo Hill Cottages is 7-minute drive from Panagsama Beach and 35-minute drive from Kawasan Falls, this lodge features accommodations with verdant field of natural landscape. We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tongo Hills Cottages, and were blown away by this hidden gem. From the incredible mountain views to the warm hospitality (Zenia, Rosalie, Ate Marcel, the owners-Caroline...everyone!), our time at Tongo exceeded every expectation. We stayed in one of the cozy bahay kubos 'Adelfa', which featured beautiful native hardwood details, bamboo decor, and luxurious modern amenities like WiFi and hot shower. The room was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfortable despite being small (my partner is Dutch). We also loved the cute attention to detail and add ons like: locally-made soap&shampoo bars, movie & bonfire nights.

The owner was just simply the loveliest man ever! He was always checking in to make sure you were comfortable or had everything you need, and was always around to answer questions. He even waited with me for over an hour in the rain while I waited for my bus! The bungalows are small but cozy, and just steps away from a lovely beach.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. Wow, what a nice place! Apparently just reopening after covid and typhoon. Dont hesitate if you are lucky to get one of the few rooms available. Located in a beautiful garden with lots of flowers , birds and butterflies. Great restaurant. Great host. Close to the birdwatching spots. The food is soooo good, maybe the best breakfast in asia?

My wife and I booked into Skott’s Comfy Lodge from Dec 22nd to Jan 3rd. We liked it so much we have decided to stay an additional three weeks. If you like quiet, an exceptionally clean place, and welcoming staff, this is the place for you. Virginia (owner)has gone out of her way to make us feel comfortable and even invited us to partake in New Years celebrations with her family. The beach is a five minute walk and scooter rental can be arranged. The wifi is also exceptionally good as STARLINK has just been installed. Wifi speeds are now regularly over 120 Mps. This is a great place for both short or long term rentals if you are looking for a quiet place to chill away from the traffic and noise. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay and would not hesitate to return if we ever returned to Bantayan Island. Dan and Grace. Canada

We always set proper expectation to our guests and inform them that the lodging place is just a place for rest and not really a place for staycation. Thus, we seek hotels that are decent and does not break the bank
the lodge is centrally located in the city proper, just walking distance to the plaza, market, church, fast food and mall.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. She even called island star express for me to confirm our pickup time from the hotel for departure. We love the breakfast which is a little walk from the lodging, they are called Nigi nigi nu noos. We tried the pancakes, American breakfast, and the bangsilog.
Angie and Simon are great hosts and they made us feel at home from day 0! They helped us with all questions we were having and made us aware of the sustainability of specific actions during our stay. Plus, breakfasts they cooked are super tasty! The lodge is clean and cozy and showering under the stars is an experience you should definitely try. Keep up the great work, Angie & Simon, we hope to come back soon!
The beach is wonderful. The lodge as well. The Filipino-workers are super friendly. Nice free sports facilities as well (basketball, biljart, ...)
Incredible location in the middle of life & nature with incredible hosts that are passionate about making this world a better place. Their supportiveness, friendliness and true sustainable ambitions merge beautifully with the bamboo paradise that are their lodges. What they have created and everything they offer/do for their guests is uniquely intended to minimize the impact on nature & the environment, ánd guarantee their guests comfort & experience.
The best thing about Tipolo is the location. Just a few beautiful lodges surrounding well kept gardens with it's own private beach access. Perfect to sit outside with a drink and relax. The aircon is new and works well and so are the black out curtains to keep the sun out.
The location is amazing, near Loboc river where you can swim. The staff very friendly and they help us with activities. They have also motorbikes to rent and the price is 500php/day. They also offer a firefly watching tour which is nice. The restaurant is nothing special but still, breakfast was ok. The hotel is few steps away from Fox & Firefly lodges where they have great food!
This is hands down the most beautiful accommodation I have ever stayed in, in my life! I felt like I was living in a beautiful fairyland by the beach! every space is different and unique which makes it so special, I changed rooms during my stay just so o could experience two of the lodges and both were so wonderful beyond anything I could of imagined! I already am planning my trip back! the staff were very kind and helpful and the location is close to many activities in Cebu!
Ambience, food quality & value, bar, jacuzzi, restaurant staff. It is truely a family run business with ralph living upstairs and the lovely daughter Ann managing with precision. Everyones so helpful, when I got sunburnt staff brought fresh aloe vera from garden to our fridge. Rooms, or lodges are for all budgets. In summary we spent 17 wonderful days here and will return, someday.
