Manuel and his family were fantastic and very helpful. Having a home-cooked supper each night was fantastic. Great view and a great place to get away from it all.

Kenny and Ruth are so great Hosts. All the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. The Accommodation is awesome, great Location. A Spot for Relaxation and the Tours are great too.

All units include a seating area. Some units feature a balcony and/or patio. There is a private bathroom with a bath in each unit. Towels are provided. Beautiful property in the middle of the jungle. We looked at several other lodges but picked this one for it's more modern amenities. This is an all inclusive lodge. Rooms are screened in (not all lodges are) with 5500 acres to themselves. The cost includes daily excursions around the many trails that they created for the guests leisure. The trails take you in to the depth of the jungle while experiencing the beauty that it offers - monkeys, birds, tarantulas, snakes etc. Guilds were extremely knowledgeable and kind. always on the lookout for things to see. Things to consider - bug spray - the local ones work better than the US ones that we brought. Clothing - while hiking - long airy pants and quick dry long (or short) shirts will make your hike more enjoyable. I brought 2 but I wish I had 4-5. Best room is called "Tarzan". We stayed in "Tucan" which was OK but close to other visitors. Hard to describe but you can hear anyone in proximity to your room since it is all screened in. Staff was SUPER hard working. They were on their feet from 4 am to 10 pm daily. I have to tip my hand to these folks, simply incredible! 10 thumbs up for the staff

The rooms and bungalows provide rustic comfort, with dark wood floors and furniture. Each comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries, and forest or oxbow lake views. There is also a fan. The staff was incredible. Very Friendly and attentive. The hotel was very clean considering that you are in the middle of a jungle. All the excursions were very well organzied with knowledgeable staff.

Wasai Tambopata Lodge is located in the middle of the Amazon, surrounded by 20 km of protected forest area. Guests are welcome to explore the premises and enjoy the breathtaking views. Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!

The lodge offers an outdoor pool. Despite being in the jungle, the internet connection is awesome (StarLink connection!). The staff was very helpful. And Moncho is super cool, you will like him!
