My friend and I loved our stay here! As soon as we arrived we wished we had booked more than one night. It is family run, and the whole family made sure we has a wonderful stay. The food was excellent, the family was so warm and accommodating, and they made sure we had everything we needed to ensure the best stay possible. I loved the little terrace and it was perfect for watching an incredible sunset over the lake. They also provided us with hot water bottles to help keep us warm and cozy at night as it gets quite cold at that elevation. Just so many small, thoughtful touches made our stay here one of the highlights of our trip to Peru!

Everything! The accommodation, the setup, the view, and finally Juan/his family and the hospitality. It's hard to imagine you're staying on a floating island once you're inside. With floor to ceiling windows, sun room (2nd floor) and an outside lounge area, Juan's place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Finally, the hospitality - Juan spent a considerable time explaining the Uros culture, what goes into the making of a village/house/boat. We even spent time making handicrafts to take home - a beautiful souvenir.

I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place.
The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you.
Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism.
If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation.
Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience.

Felix and his family - Milagro, Axel, and Diego provided a unique and unforgettable experience. The setting is stunning and very peaceful. Felix took us on a 3 hour tour of the Uros islands during which he taught us about the Uros culture, the flora, fauna, and fish in the area, and how the floating islands are constructed.
After dinner, Milagro would give each of us a hot water bottle to warm our beds, which was greatly appreciated. When we left the lodge, we were each given a lovely handicraft made by Milagro.

Very friendly owner. The owner of the lodge is one of the local Uros community family unlike other hotels that are owned/ managed by non-local.
The location was perfect…overlooking the majestic Lake Titicaca with the hills forming an ethereal backdrop. The lodge itself was spacious and yet cosy. The furnishings just right with the right mix of colour and exuberance!
We had a beautiful experience staying in the lodge in the middle of the floating Uros island. We were picked up from the airport and came to the island. On the way we visited local families living on the islands and sharing with us about their lifestyle and day to day activities. Our host host made sure we had a beautiful stay and supported with all our questions, including helping with tour arrangements to Taquille island
Cesar and Lucy were exceptional hosts who made our stay on the Uros Islands a special experience you can't get from a quick day trip from Puno. The lodge was incredibly comfortable and exceeded our expectations; the food was substantial, and overall, it was a great oasis away from the rushing around travel sometimes can become.
We had a great time at the Samaraña Uta Lodge! The triple room was so beautiful! Beds were big and comfortable. Food was included, a boat trip around the islands was also offered. Cesar and Lucy were very friendly and helpful. We were so thankful that they help us to coordinate with LATAM to get our delayed luggage delivered directly to the lodge the next day. What a nice surprise!
I can't say enough about Titicaca worldwide lodge! It is a unique experience to stay here! Like a once in a lifetime opportunity! The rooms and beds are very comfortable and cozy! It's cold but they have enough blankets to keep us warm. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and helpful! Breakfast is delicious! I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return!

Very immersive and wonderful experience. Uros lodges are located far from touristic rush of Puno and we had a great opportunity to see the daily life of Miguel and his family - they were all very nice, friendly and very helpful. Also, they provided us with great food, took us fishing, gave us sorojchi pills when we did not feel great because of high altitude and much much more. Highly recommend to everyone!
Cesar and his wife Lucia were the best hosts, Lucia showed us how she fish, they were always careful for any need we have. The bedroom with the heater and the amazing view on the lake, I can recommend 1000% The food is really good too, really typical, I said I was vegetarian and they immediately adapted something for me, really nice of them ! If you are looking for a calm, relaxing, authentic place to stay, away from very touristics islands, please go stay at Cesar and Lucia’s lodges.
