This was the best memory of our family trip to Peru. It allowed us to taka a break from our hectic travelling and enjoy the low pace of the uros within the warmth of a family.
From the pick-up to the warm arrival by our hosts, mama Leia was ready to make us feel at home. She cooked a delicious warm soup and warm bottles to heat the beds to sleep.
The room looked like a regular hotel with comfortable bed, huge windows to enjoy the view of the lake and a bathroom with shower.
The food home-made by mama Leia (our host) was nice and filling and most importantly made with so much love.
They family took us on a tour to learn about life at the uros and their traditions. We got plenty time to rest on the island enjoying the stunning scenery. It was time for our family to disconnect and was greatly welcomed.
We would definitely go back to this place ❤️ we promised we would.

the family was great, they were so friendly and generours to have us with them. Only Lina was able to speak English but nevertheless we were able to communicate with the husband and the kids. Lina is a great cook and she served us traditional food (simple). When we needed a lift they were always on time. The loft is nice and the best part of it is the balcony. The shower has hot water.

Very nice experience living on the Uros islands. The accomodation is basic but has everything you need. The host family is outstanding and the trips with Carlos in his boats were great fun for us and our kids. A boat/shop passes by each morning to buy some basic stuff, and dinner (very good)/drinks can be bought (cheap).Gas heating in the room and warm bottles to keep your feet warm in the bed. Dont forget to bring cash!!

Staying at Felix, is like staying at good friends place. Its really not that impersonal hotel stay but the real experience in how life is on Uros. Felix did everything to make sure our stay was as beautiful as possible and really made us feel like home. As we arrived super early morning he organized our transport and even let us get to our rooms early to rest a bit before having an amazing local breakfast, prepared by his wife. On sundays he took us to a local community soccer game and we could meet his friends and share a beer with them.

Very friendly owner. The owner of the lodge is one of the local Uros community family unlike other hotels that are owned/ managed by non-local.
The location was perfect…overlooking the majestic Lake Titicaca with the hills forming an ethereal backdrop. The lodge itself was spacious and yet cosy. The furnishings just right with the right mix of colour and exuberance!
We had a beautiful experience staying in the lodge in the middle of the floating Uros island. We were picked up from the airport and came to the island. On the way we visited local families living on the islands and sharing with us about their lifestyle and day to day activities. Our host host made sure we had a beautiful stay and supported with all our questions, including helping with tour arrangements to Taquille island
Cesar and Lucy were exceptional hosts who made our stay on the Uros Islands a special experience you can't get from a quick day trip from Puno. The lodge was incredibly comfortable and exceeded our expectations; the food was substantial, and overall, it was a great oasis away from the rushing around travel sometimes can become.
We had a great time at the Samaraña Uta Lodge! The triple room was so beautiful! Beds were big and comfortable. Food was included, a boat trip around the islands was also offered. Cesar and Lucy were very friendly and helpful. We were so thankful that they help us to coordinate with LATAM to get our delayed luggage delivered directly to the lodge the next day. What a nice surprise!
I can't say enough about Titicaca worldwide lodge! It is a unique experience to stay here! Like a once in a lifetime opportunity! The rooms and beds are very comfortable and cozy! It's cold but they have enough blankets to keep us warm. The hosts are exceptionally helpful and helpful! Breakfast is delicious! I highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return!

Very immersive and wonderful experience. Uros lodges are located far from touristic rush of Puno and we had a great opportunity to see the daily life of Miguel and his family - they were all very nice, friendly and very helpful. Also, they provided us with great food, took us fishing, gave us sorojchi pills when we did not feel great because of high altitude and much much more. Highly recommend to everyone!
Cesar and his wife Lucia were the best hosts, Lucia showed us how she fish, they were always careful for any need we have. The bedroom with the heater and the amazing view on the lake, I can recommend 1000% The food is really good too, really typical, I said I was vegetarian and they immediately adapted something for me, really nice of them ! If you are looking for a calm, relaxing, authentic place to stay, away from very touristics islands, please go stay at Cesar and Lucia’s lodges.
