The 13th-century Røldal Stave Church is 200 metres away. The camping was really beautiful and our cabin super clean and cozy! The staff very polite and willing to help with whatever we needed! I had very lovely stay at Annehelenes B&B. Anne is a very nice and caring person. You feel like home. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed very comfy. You had a heater, coffee and tee there. Hairdryer as well. The bathroom is georgious. Good shower! It was like a little independent apartment. The neighborhood is beautiful with the tipical wooden houses and 10 min to the centre. In a nutshell: could not be better!!
The cabin was in a very scenic location. While close to the lodge and glacier and campground, it was separate and private.
Location was the best part of the lodge, it do feel remote and away from the city but it's really worth. Lodge is next to a free flowing river and view is breath taking and awesome.
I recently stayed at this lodge and had a generally positive experience. The front desk staff were exceptionally cheerful and welcoming, which set a pleasant tone for our stay. The environment around the property is nice and inviting, adding to the overall charm. Additionally, the availability of a kitchen with freezer space was a convenient feature, allowing us to store and prepare food easily.
Good neighbourhoods, nice wooden houses. A 20 minute walk to town and Bryggen. Near to supermarket and bus routes.
Location, the lodge is new and clean.
The lodge is spotless and has everything you could possibly want inside. Felt very at home and all the other guests were super friendly. The view over the village was also amazing
A very Nice room with an incredible view of a waterfall. Off the beaten path hostel/hotel/camping. Lovely environment. Wonderful staff and very helpful. Excellent breakfast in a very lovely dining room with antiques. Comfortable beds and private bath in the lodge area. We had access to a shared kitchen and lounge area that was very nice.
Amazing location, so peaceful with view down the valley. Stayed in one of the lodges with family 4 for 2 nights. Lodge was clean. its basic but plenty of space for 4. Modern bathroom and good shower. Owners are friendly with nice cafe. Shops for supplies walking distance. Good base to explore.
We arrived late on the Sogndal plane from Oslo and caught the public transport bus directly from the Airport which stops opppsite the Hotel. As the sun never fully sets during summer, we then enjoyed a relaxing but stunning balcony view. The staff went out of their way to ensure our time with them went well, and provided us direction on making our holiday a success. The Hotel has a great deal to offer a family travelling in rural Western Norway, and would be a great ski lodge in Winter.
