Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. We had an all around fantastic stay. Staff was really nice and proactive to make you feel at home. The included breakfast and the meals we ordered were delicious. Certainly a fantastic experience if you're looking for something other than the usual hotel room. And as luck has had it the weather allowed us to see a beautiful aurora right there and then.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. This vacation was a once in a lifetime experience. The location was perfect to see the northern lights, the restaurant served food of the quality of a Michelin star restaurant, and the staff was extremely friendly. Even though the location was quite remote, there were plenty of activities to do. PS: it is also a great place to propose to your girlfriend - a guaranteed YES (from personal experience) :)

Guests at the lodge can enjoy skiing and cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Very nice view to the sea and village. There were also many animals, what was nice to watch, example sheeps, reindeer, fox. The cabin was nice and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The nearest airport is Lakselv, Banak Airport, 5 km from the lodge. Very cozy cabin with really nothing to complain about. The location is good where it's just minutes drive downtown. The hosts have really made their property piece of artwork. If you're looking for somewhere close to the nature while maintaining all living facilities this is the perfect place to choose.

Engholm Design Lodge is set on a husky dog farm and provides an ideal base for those seeking a unique wilderness experience. Guests stay in cosy cabins, which have their own kitchenettes.

A continental breakfast is available each morning at the lodge. The restaurant at Levajok Lodge specialises in American, Seafood and local cuisine. We really enjoyed the place, the best you can find for that money. We stayed at the cottage where was everything you need, kitchen was equipped. The bathrooms are next door. Barbecue and eating are is nice with great leisure activities. Sauna for extra price 450 NOK for two people.

Located in Alta, 23 km from The Rock art of Alta, Alten Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, a garden with a terrace, and access to a sauna.

A fridge, a dishwasher and stovetop are also provided in the kitchen, as well as a kettle. We were a couple on the way to Nordkape. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a hot dinner. The bedding is pleasant. The shower is hot and good. Just a wonderful place!
