We were given a very warm welcome and were well looked after by Maykel and his family . He arranged a volcano guide and we ordered packed lunches which were perfect at the top of a long hike . It was really useful that we could rent Maykal’s scooter as we had taken a taxi from the port. With large backpacks renting motos at the port would not have been fesible for us. Having independent ( not taxi) transport is, I think important to have a relaxed tour of this beautiful island . The roads are quiet and generally very low speed so biking is easy and the main way people get around. We had a wonderful , large room and big bathroom with a shower. There was a terrace where we sat peacefully in the evenings watching and listening to monkeys and enjoying the sunset. The food is all cooked to ordered. We had excellent breakfasts and we ate in 2 out of 4 evenings. They ask that you order your meal in advance so it can be freshly prepared. We were really happy with the location. Close to a lake beach, but close using the moto to the best sandy beaches- Playa Mango and San Domingo. The WiFi was excellent . We were so pleased we chose The Jungle and highly recommend it.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Everything was perfect, the lounge, the food, the music, the rooms, the views, the staff.

A private beach area can be found at the lodge, along with a garden. This was one of my favorite stays in Nicaragua. The location was so peaceful and quiet for sleeping but there are also several places nearby to grab a drink. The owner Gianny was so so kind and him or his lovely staff/family were there if you needed anything. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking and was spotlessly clean. I loved that the fruit/veg truck drove by here selling things every other day. I really enjoyed the free coffee every morning and loved the atmosphere of this place, great for solo travelers and meeting other people. Beautiful garden with hammocks and it was right on the beach. Compared to other places in the area with a private room with en-suite this was really the best value for your money

Ecolodge Blue Morpho offers an à la carte or vegetarian breakfast. This is one of my favorite lodgings during my long travels through Central America. The hosts were exceptional, the meals exquisite, and the space wonderful. The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.

Augusto C. Sandino International Airport is 2 hours’ drive from Hacienda & Ecolodge Morgan’s Rock and the city of Granada is 1 hour and 20 minutes’ drive away. We loved the place everything was great

Situated in Santa Cruz, Dragon's Garden features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant.

Maderas Volcano is 6.3 km from the lodge. The location and price of Dragon's Garden is what I appreciated most. The cabins are eco friendly, there are dry toilets on the property, the showers are beautiful. All in all I think the price for what is provided is excellent. This and the staff is extremely friendly.
