I think this was one of my top 5 stays! Everything was perfect! Service was incredible. Sundowner was lovely. Elephants were just WOW! Loads of bugs, be prepared. It is deep in the wilderness! The pool was a lovely way to cool off in the afternoons! Dinner was divine! We left early on the morning of check out and they prepared the most spectacular box of snacks and a sandwich for us. Thank you for an amazing time!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. I had high expectations for this lodge but what happened far exceded anything I expected. The locations is stunning, the view from the tent room was amazing. Every facility, be it the tent rooms or the restaurant are really well designed and you can tell there was great attention to detail. The food at the restaurant was really good, we had dinner and breakfast 2 days and were really happy with the quality and service. The star of the show is clearly the staff, they think of everything even before you need it, very nice people, very helpful, it definitely takes the experience to the next level. To top everything up we did the full day tour with Alfred and Unity, amazing guys, very knowledgeable, following a group of about 18 elefants for some hours along the riverbed, finishing with a supriding and relaxing lunch on the riverbed.

Each bungalow at the Huab Lodge features a private veranda overlooking the area and hills. They all have a private bathroom with twin basins and views from the shower. All of them have thatched roofs and typical African decoration. Our stay at Huab Lodge was simply a dream! We were very warmly welcomed and the location is absolutely unique. The food was also excellent. Our absolute highlight was the River Drive. The nature and also the elephants were really breathtaking. What we really liked was how respectful the handling of the elephants was. It was left enough distance to the elephants and also respected when the signal came that we should "move on". Nevertheless, we were able to spend a lot of time with the elephants. You just noticed that they are free and wild elephants, which made everything even more unique. By far the best drive of the entire vacation.
