The space in between… Six wonderfully designed and constructed A frames, offering everything necessary for the best off grid experience I have ever found. Woke with sunrise and followed the path down the wooden stairs to the breathtaking Lake Bacalar. easily spent the early day here … comfy chairs , floating decks , in water swing and hammock….. and free use kayaks.A mix of sun and shade makes it all perfect . The town of Bacalar is 15 minutes down the road , several options to tour the lake …. sail , pontoon and motorboats. Definitely visit Azul Cenote a few miles further down road . Returned to jungle early evening to be greeted with a sky full for gazing and shimmering moon lit water with sounds of nature providing the soundtrack for an experience that will not soon be forgotten. A huge bonus was being able to take the kayaks out for a breathtaking view of the sunset. The owner was readily available and so communicative. I highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.
