Scenary is amazing and there are a couple scenic routes to Trevi. Easily a place worth your money. Lodgings are rustic and I really liked the athmosphere.
It is a lodging travelers dream about. The suite was spacious, the decor simple but fitting into the whole of the structure. Special attention was paid to the lovely soaps and shampoo. We felt welcome and respected. A return is in the future. Five stars.........
Beautiful room with full view of Assisi in the distance, very helpful and welcoming host, perfect location close to Perugia and Spello with ample, private and secure parking.. Delicious and abundant breakfast. Perfect place to lodge to visit Umbria!
Our stay at Casale Montemoro was amazing. Roberto (the host) was such a kind and welcoming person. He provided us with tips for visiting the surrounding area, helped us with anything we needed at the apartment and was super friendly all the time. The house is located in a remote area where you have peace and quiet. Yet it is still close to a shop and a few small towns where you can buy necessities. We had an amazing time, so thank you Roberto!
Beautiful classic style wooden house in the rolling Umbria hills. The master bed was super comfortable and facilities including pool were great.
The hotel is squeezed into a number of houses in the old walled town of Colvalenza, not far from the modern part which is dominated by the Sanctuary. That fact determines the size of rooms - mine was fine, but had nowhere to sit comfortably, and little natural light.The bathroom was OK, with a small shower, but no more than that. Meals were good - the hotel restaurant attracts outside clients as well as those lodging. Facilities within the hotel were meagre, but in the summer that matters little.
Really amazing stay, the lodging is inside an ex convent, the room are small but very cozy, there is a huge park with pool for guest and even a water spring. Great sleep. Very fine restaurant for dinner and breakfast, very friendly stuff
Loved our stay! The room was comfortable and spacious for two guests. The hosts treated us like family. If you are interested in truffle hunting at the Black Truffle lodge the hosts will transport you there. Wonderful dinners and breakfasts. Exceptional setting!
