The location is remote but very beautiful and is right on the border of Dublin and Wicklow Counties. They call Wicklow "the garden of Ireland" and it meets it's reputation as one of the most beautiful places in Ireland and I would argue in the world - I've seen the world.

What we liked about the Gardiner Lodge was the location, the confortable beds and the irish breakfast.
Great value for money, plus stylish compared to other Travelodges I've stayed in. Comfortable rooms and staff were extremely helpful.
Extremely friendly lady on reception. Room was basic but it was spotless, comfortable bed and good pillows. Lovely area of Dublin, felt very safe. I stayed the night before the Europa League final, many other properties were charging extortionate prices, but not Travelodge. Fair play.
Location good, close to bus stop from airport and EPIC museum. Typical room and bathroom size for a travel lodge - ok for a short stay. Concierge was very helpful - told us a nice bakery to try for breakfast and stored our bags securely until the end of the day.
It's a Travelodge - you know what you are getting. It was good for the airport. It was easy to catch a bus to the terminals from a bus stop nearby. Just remember that you need coins to pay on the buses in Dublin - what a ridiculous situation !
The Check In was very Smooth, the Person from the Door did an amazing job, with a lovely Smile and spreading amazing Good Mood over the Place. Had not the best stays before in Travellodges. Your one is Great, Clean, Modern and Central!
It was clean and in a relatively good location, easy walk to bars and restaurants. Ken front of house was very friendly and welcoming.. nothing seemed too much trouble, he and one of the female reception staff (wish I could remember her name) were the only redeeming factors to the Travel lodges atmosphere.
Room was pretty big as I traveled alone, and really neat compared to other lodges I've stayed at, so was positively surprised. I stayed one night to catch an early flight and it was perfect for that.
noting actually well bar was there with pub grub / restaurant. else really bad. been in a lof of hotels, lodges, b&b and never been treated like that. my 8yr ans 12 yr "said dont go back there daddy" wont be
