Palaiókastron

The cottage was so lovely, It was located in a quiet spot in the green, but at easy distance from supermarket and restaurants. It had a delightful old interior and a mini garden and terrace, and made us feel completely relaxed. It was cool inside, and the mosquitoes were kept outside. Our host was very friendly and helpful, and gave us a lot of useful information.

The lodge is just beautiful! The rooms are spacious and cozy, they are nicely decorated and equipped with all necessary appliances for the stay. The location is close enough to the city center and the mount Olympus tracks, yet far enough so you won't hear the noise. Dont forget to ask for the home made Greek cuisine breakfast. Without a doubt, agreed by all family members, the best breakfast we had in Greece. The owner was a mountain climbing guide, so he has good tips for those who are going to the tracks in the area
The lodging was excellent, immaculate, brand new, and had a delightful ambiance. Our hosts were exceptionally kind and friendly, and the lady who serviced our room wore a constant smile and provided incredibly helpful assistance. Each night, the pool was cleaned with the assistance of a robot, and it seemed to be a family-owned business, which might make it even more charming as a location. We arrived late in the evening, and we were welcomed with a chilled bottle of white wine.
Nice place to spend the last night in Greece and get quickly to the airport in the morning. The bus stop to the airport was some 600mfrom the lodge, the bus aviable all the day and night and it was just what we need.
Great location, pristine room with a sea view and massive balcony to lodge on, outside very busy Stavros, beach right across the road not densely packed. Parking provided. Staff is unbelievable, very un-European as they are very kind and helpful. Good location for day tripping: Thessaloniki, Kavala, Mr Athos. We will return.
Excellent location! Super clean, big and comfortable room! Wonderful balcony! Great gadgets in the room (coffee maker, radio, TV with numerous channels...); great communication and key pick up from hosts... strongly recommended lodging!

Beautiful landscaping, the grounds are very nice and well maintained. Pleasant and minimalist lodges, with thoughtful interiors.
The place is fantastic! A hidden gem right next to Olympus, but also very close to the city centre and many restaurants. We got a big room and we were surprised with the quality of everything in the room. The staff went above and beyond to help us and we’re still dreaming of the homemade breakfast. Thank you Countryside Lodge! We’ll be back!
