The view was spectacular. The host is French and prepared a lovely dinner and breakfast for us. He runs a cocoa and fruit vegetation. The tour of his land and how prepares chocolate is not to be missed!

The views from every angle are breathtaking, with the river on one side, and two stretches of beaches on the other. It’s lush, and there are tons of birds and wildlife on the property. The free breakfast was also delicious (they could bring it to your room!) and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Could not recommend it more.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. The property is an eco-friendly hostel that offers private rustic rooms with balcony and bathroom. Beautiful hotel with a big terrace with a restaurant and views of the river and jungle. Bungalow very nicely furnished and comfortable. Staff very helpful. The food is great. Great value for money. Definitely a great choice for relaxation.

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. Santa Marta is 40 km away and Tayrona Natural Park is within a 10 minute drive. Free private parking is available on site. It's an amazing tranquil spot in between more lively hostels. Not for partygoers but for people who want to chill on the beach and/or maybe visit the neighboring hostels for a drink, but want to have their rest and peace after it. The owners as well as the personnel were extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

An à la carte breakfast is available every morning at the lodge. Finca Cuipo is magical, and the wonderfully warm hosts only add to the stunning natural setting. I stayed 3 nights and was sad to leave on the final morning. I can’t wait to return again soon!

A children's playground is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Superb little cabaña in the middle of the jungle. Wake up to the sound of birds and monkeys. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony, as well as talking to Jorge and his family. They are wonderful hosts, very kind and generous. It's a happy place!
