She was always responsive to my emails and questions, picked us up from the airport and toured us around town to help us locate key sights, and went the extra mile to meet our every need - she even opened her home for me to access the internet for a business meeting. She checked in each day and offered suggestions for whatever we needed or wanted to do. The location is the other great attribute - we were walking distance from just about everything, other than some of the distant ruins. Great restaurants and sights, including the perfect sunset location are 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The room was clean and so comfortable. A great kitchen with the supplies we needed for coffee, tea and simple meals. Loved the upstairs loft bedroom and balcony for morning coffee. Truly a special place and highly recommend it - would stay there again in a minute!

Had a great vacation in Chile at December. Stayed at the Easter Island at the Kona Koa Lodge and it was really right choice. Jerome is a very attentive and friendly host, he organized transfer for us from the airport and back, recommended a very good local guide for excursion around the National Park and meeting the highlights. We also rented a car at Kona Koa and fully satisfied by this experience, everything was organized easy and conveniently.
The house is surrounded by lovely blossoming garden, it’s clean and cozy and fully equipped with necessary household appliances and utensils. Highly recommend the place for those, who going to discover the Island!

Kind home owners, clean and beautiful facilities wotg surroundings. Very easy car rental from the home owner. Tap water is so clean, and it is drinkable. Fresh welcome fruits and eggs available. Very lovely family owned lodge.
It was an easy walk to downtown from the Lodge. The room was clean. The staff friendly. The breakfast was good for us that eat meat not so good for a couple of our party that were vegetarians. There were a couple hiccups but were remedied quickly. Ran out of gas for hot water and power went out which was our fault for running the A/C and hot water kettle at the same time. Once we knew then no more problems. Overall a cute place and very affordable.
Very beautyful surroundings. Lodge comfortable, clean and well equipted but very simple (in island's style). Very good breakfast. Lovely owner lways ready to help. Very good location close to shops and restaurants.
Our stay at the Pikera Uri Eco Lodge was fantastic! We were collected from the airport, and when we arrived the check-in process was really easy. Suggestions were made about car hire and the tours available. The room was well appointed, and the breakfast was amazing! The 15 minutes' walk along the coast into the town was superb. Such a beautiful backdrop to a great few days!
Takarua Lodge was wonderful! The location is gorgeous, the staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotlessly cleaned and well designed. Many, many thoughtful touches made our stay exceptional. I would recommend Takarua Lodge to anyone visiting Easter Island!

We stayed 7 days in the Kona Koa lodge and loved the place. The bungalows are nicely designed, very comfy and the garden is beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfasts on the high table, the afternoon on the terrace and the clear stars at night. We did not mind it was outside of Hanga Road, rather the opposite. The recommended German guide was excellent. The Family tried to make everything possible. Highly recommended.
Honestly the lodge is amazing and located in a stunning spot. You will wake up in front of the sea and enjoy a wonderful view. Highly recommended for a unique experience.
