Everything was amazing: huge room with comfortable beds, huge shower, great communal living room. We checked in using a link we received and then got a pin for the front door and for our door.
Very quiet neighborhood. There are no shops for breakfast, I believe, but you have a lot of options in Golden.
I believe this is actually a ski resort that is being rented out to hikers and other travelers outside the ski season.

Kindly note that the main lodge is not pet-friendly due to the built. Only the chalet that is located just across the main lodge is pet friendly.
I stayed here to go skiing at Kicking Horse and it was the perfect choice. The lodge was lovely and clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great contact from them explaining the process. Was just an overnighter but a great shower and comfy bed, super clean.

Glenogle is a little bit out of town, super quiet except for the creek that runs in front of it. Doris and her husband work extremely hard to ensure it is clean and guests have everything they need. Rooms are spacious with a balcony and Mountain View.

A Balcony is provided in each room at this property. Fireplaces are provided in 1-and 2-bedroom suites at this property. The first room the staff gave us looked into a stone wall and there was no chair other than a large stuffed chair. I went back to check-in and asked for a room with a view and was able to get one with a straight back chair (for laptop computer use) and a wonderful view with no hesitation. Be sure to ask for a valley view when booking! No charge parking garage was safe and convenient.

It’s not a chain hotel, it’s a privately owned lodge and a bit of a throwback to another age. Tucked away in the woods overlooking Golden and very much in the wild. Self service breakfast and a bit old fashioned which we found very appealing. Finally, on our departure, we saw two bears and an elk in the road leading from the lodge.
Great location right by the river and extensive walking paths. View of the mountains from some rooms. The log-style lobby was welcoming, and the mountain lodge theme continued throughout. The breakfast set up was good as they welcomed guests bringing their own food in. The shared kitchen provided a coffee machine, toaster, microwave and sink. Good value for families who reserve the loft style rooms, which have two single beds upstairs and a queen bed downstairs. Lodge vibe without the high price of well-known larger lodges.

The room was exceptionally clean and a good value. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. The coffee machine in reception is stellar and the Lodge is well located beside the river. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Pubs and taverns within walking distance.
The host is super friendly and helpful. She suggested many places to visit and made a perfect first impression. The lodge was cozy and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and even more. There is a lot of space, and everything is just perfect. Definitely a place to stay.
Wonderful ski vacation lodge. Everything I needed ; ski lockers, boot dryers, 60 seconds away from gondola, restaurants, friendly staff, outdoor hottub, ski lodge decor throughout. Clean and well decorated room , mountain view and balcony . Loved it so much I stayed an extra nite and the lodge matched my already great rate. Will be staying next season for sure.
Rooms renovated recently and was nice and very clean. Our room had a nice view of the mountains. Very quiet at night. There is also a Indian food restaurant next door where we had one of the best meals and also got a 10% discount for staying at the lodge.
Suited our needs of a reasonably priced B&B for a night's stay before skiing. Quirky secluded Lodge, interesting photos on the walls, and books/games etc and to chill out next to the fire. Good selection at breakfast. Staff were friendly but interactions were brief and it would have been nice to have had more chat about the lodge/history etc.
The lodge was lovely, staff exceptionally friendly. Bistro food was very good. I would suggest that the breakfast could have some more cold options other than cereal and toast. Local bakery products, boiled eggs, fresh local bagels, (loved the homemade granola BTW), fresh muffins rather than packaged (over processed). It would be nice to have an infra red Sauna and a hot tub to make the lodge experience more valueblen for money.
The location is great, and the facilities are certainly to the standards and spacing of a ski lodge. They provided ample warning of the "village" being closed and hi-way maintenance being conducted.
