Dunkeld
Located at the southern end of the iconic Grampians National Park, Southern Grampians Cottages are surrounded by beautiful gardens offering mountain views. Each cottage features a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi. We chose this establishment because it is so close to the Grampian Park and not in the middle of the crowded section. Their are two nice hikes close by and if you walk from the cottage the extra 2 miles add to the hikes themselves. The property was quiet, had some basics like oil and salt and pepper, cold water, coffee and tea. The chocolates were a nice touch. The town of Dunkel also provides a few nice options. We chose to buy groceries and eat our meals in the cottage. This gave us the feeling of home in our cozy little cottage. We made a fire each night and cooked out on the grill. The bed was comfortable, the spa tub was fabulous and the TV had Netflix. There was wildlife a few hundred yards away such as Kangaroos and Emus. This was the perfect place for us.

Each of these chalets features timber ceilings, a modern kitchen, polished wooden floors and a spacious living area that leads out to a wide veranda, where you can watch kangaroos and deer wander past. The chalets are very spacious, well appointed, and user friendly. We throughly enjoyed the separate seating area with two small sofas, cozy cushions and blankets for the cool mornings. A bonus were all the morning birds calling.

We loved the location and the stunning views of the Grampians, clearly visible while sitting on the upper balcony. The lodge was very comfortable and it was well equipped.
We loved the location as it's in the bush but in town too! With kangaroos and deer grazing nearby , shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance The Lodges were the perfect choice for our stay in Halls Gap.
Great location with fantastic views. Facilities are great, beds are comfy, and the lodge has all it needed to make our visit to the Grampians a memorable vacation for all.
The lodge was really well designed, and very comfortable. It was close to everything we needed for a weekend away exploring, and was the perfect retreat to come back to at the end of the day.

Aquila Eco Lodges is such an amazing concept. Perfect place to zone out, distance yourself from the city life, and enjoy the serenity. Immersed into a national park, surrounded by the bush and wildlife, it felt surreal. It’s such a unique experience that we would recommend to everyone.
The Lodges were easily accessible and clean. Parking right outside the door. Everything as you'd expect it :)
We decided to go for the luxury villa and it exceeded our expectations. Set away from the other lodges, with a magnificent view of the Grampians, it had everything we needed: fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, 2 comfortable bedrooms both with attached bathrooms, a verandah. Just like the photos. There were also board games, Netflix, Amazon Prime. If only our itinerary allowed us to stay longer. Overall, a most wonderful stay.
clean simple neat. lodges are well equipped. great location…. notice and quiet!
The Kingfisher Lodge was amazingly comfy and clean, it had everything you could need during a holiday. The wood fire was perfect, as were the little visits from the kangaroos. Would definitely revisit the Lodges and have recommended them to family.
