The experience at Pecan Bush Lodge really exceeded my expectations. The staff were all incredibly friendly and extremely helpful, the host Freeman went above and beyond for us and all our needs. The breakfast everyday was also such a bonus and we enjoyed every moment of it. For our 7 day stay it was nothing short of amazing and we will definitely be back
The lodge was modern, spacious, and well maintained. Underfloor heating was very comfortable in winter. It was remote and isolated - exactly the holiday we were looking for. We could walk around and saw a few animals.
Joe and Lorraine were very friendly to us. They even gave us an idea on where to get our last minute groceries on our way to the Lodge. We were told beforehand what we would need to bring with us for a comfortable stay at the lodge. They love dogs and we are also crazy about dogs so we found beautiful dogs in their property and they allowed our dog to interact it was such a beautiful scene!
The customer service was excellent. They catered to all our special requests and Chef tshepang cooked a really delicious meal on special request. Overall we loved the facilities, there was a lot to do at the lodge.
From the moment you arrive at African Hills Safari lodge you feel like you are in another world. The staff are absolutely amazing. The room we stayed in was absolutely luxurious. We enjoyed a game drive with our very knowledgeable guide, who also took us for a walk up the mountain. The food was incredible. It was fantastic to see so many animals up close, especially the elephants.
The location is remote therefore theres a lot of serenity.
There is no need to go find fun somewhere because there is a game centre (swimming pool, Pool table, board games, volleyball, table tennis)
We were allowed to use the lodges kitchen, utensils, pots etc because we prefered to do our own meals.
The host (Donnie) was very excellent with us and very friendly he even allowed us to make noise at the hall side/ pool.
The caretaker/ helper (Patrick), a shy person but very friendly and was very helpful.
Really enjoyed our stay at the African Hills Safari Lodge and Spa. Everything about the stay from the room, facilities, the food and the staff was incredible. The staff are very friendly, attentive and always ready to assist, which we appreciated as guests. Also really enjoyed the spa and the game drive.
