Good location, almost on Union Square with all its' upmarket shops. Friendly, obliging staff. Quirky hotel - there's a theatre on 2nd floor and some society called Elks Lodge have a huge presence / history here. Comfortable lounge / reception area where they serve complimentary sherry each afternoon and coffee / biscuits each morning. A nice touch. Generous size bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and very nice bathroom with plush towels and toiletries.

It's such a unicorn to find affordable lodging in SF, let alone so well located. This was not my first stay at TP and as long as they offer such clean, economically sane, rooms, I'll be back again.

We enjoyed our long visit to San Francisco, staying in Travelodge we were at a quiet zone but near restaurants and other facilities. The room was huge and the staff is very friendly, give us lots of tips.

The location was excellent and easy to access public transport. The lodge needs a little TLC and perhaps some upgrades but my room was more than adequate and quite large as well.

The people who work at the Travelodge are ALWAYS so nice. They try to accommodate needs and provide a great service by allowing our dog for free since we stay so often and a pretty good breakfast (juice, coffee, tea, hard boiled eggs, toast, etc). The grounds are clean and the parking is a bonus. In the room there is a coffee maker, fridge and microwave.

In the heart of the city, I was able to lodge both affordably and securely. The staff promptly provided all the necessary assistance. The breakfast was a delightful spread, featuring an assortment of bread and bagels, crisp bacon and scrambled eggs, along with yogurt and cereal, and complemented by orange juice and milk, all of which were quite tasty.

Old-style hotel in a historical building which also houses the Playhouse Theatre and "the oldest continuously operating Lodge in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks". Quaint. Just off Union Square. Free coffee in the mornings and sherry in the evenings. Piano in the lobby.

Barely acceptable budget level 2 star accomodation. It's an old travel lodge and a bit worn, but the price certainly helps make up for it. Location is excellent if you're using public transport, we used the streetcar and there's convenient stops within a very short walk on Market. Staff were friendly enough.

I didn’t stay there. I attempted to book at Rodeway motor lodge on Eddy not this location. When attempting to book through Priceline, it initially indicated my initial request than booked me here. I called your company and they were little help to me as I have to pay for a 102 cancellation fee for a glitch with Priceline’s system.

Tony was incredibly kind, sweet, professional, and polite. His professionalism and kindness really made me want to come back here for my next SF trip. Also, parking garage allows people with rental car to travel with peace of mind without having to worry about car break in. Also note that the parking is FREE!! It is not the most modern style lodge, but it is spacious and clean. I will highly highly recommend this place with all my heart.
