This is a lovely older hotel. The lobby has the feel of a lodge. The room is furnished with many classic pieces and the bed is so comfy. A really good mattress.

Check-in was quick. I asked about local breweries nearby and was shown several on a city map I was given; also told about the weekly city market going on downtown. The room was exceptionally clean. It was quiet and comfortable. Although the property was dated the location was safe and great if you want to be near downtown, which is a very nice area. We referred to these type hotels as "Route 66 hotels" because they are the throw-back motor lodges; this one has excellent value and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
