The location was good. It was a stone throw away from the Stone town market and very easy to walk around the main attractions in Stone town to explore.

The hotel was very beautiful, amazing pool, beachfront. Loved the villa type rooms. We had the upgraded villa with a private mini pool. Also it was our honeymoon so they decorated our room with flowers, heart shaped towel and free bottle of red wine. The meal plan was a little different than what used too (buffet style). The menu type of what is available for that day is good for the hotel to not get wastage. But for my husband who is Kenyan, the portions weren’t filling enough for him. The staffs were limited which was good so we could remember a person and help with different requests needed. Also they knew English to communicate easily with foreigners. Security were everywhere throughout the hotel which were Maasai men, which was a comfortable feeling. Overall experience was very good and definitely a place we could come back too.
