My stay was amazing - great hosts, delicious food, super peaceful on the island. You can go paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling - all from the house.
Each house has a small gardenarea around it which is covered so it feels very private.
There is also a pool !
You can't leave the place to go to any shops because the only way out is by boat, which feels very luxurious !

The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by nature. There are monkeys, agoutis and many birds. The beach is clear and deserted, a paradise to relax! The property is huge and there is even a waterfall that you can visit on a 1-hour walk, but I didn't manage to do the tour because I didn't have time enough.
The room is comfortable, clean and airy. The staff was very helpful and attentive.
I highly recommend the stay!

I have just finished my stay at Jungle Paunch and I really want to go back. Maxi is a great host, be will do everything to make you feel comfortable and help with whatever you need. Inside the cabins you will find the story of how Jungle Paunch was built and it is simply inspiring; a true eco lodge. the surroundings are magnificent and you can hear not only all the sounds of the jungle, but also the waves crashing in the sea very close by. an extraordinary experience, with regular visits from many animals! There is also a higher platform on the property that is excellent for meditating in the early morning and late afternoon! the Paunch area is very quiet, and Bluff beach - one of the owners’ passions - is well worth the visit. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Wonderful place if you like to explore nature or just spend some lazy time. We really enjoyed our stay here. It's amazing to watch all the different birds, butterflies and other animals in their natural habitat. Food was super delicious as well. You are in the middle of nowhere, so there's no electricity throughout the day, which was completely fine for us. Highly recommended :)

The tranquility of the place was wonderful. It's a 30 min or so boat ride from Bocas Town which is what we wanted since Bocas Town has turned into nothing but a party town with extremely loud music till 3-4 in the morning mid week thru the weekend. So it was wonderful. The staff were exceptional and friendly. Alondra went above and beyond for anything we needed. The food was amazing and fresh. They set up dinner each night on our patio for a nice quiet and intimate dinner. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

This place is very close to the beach, a lovely house where you will feel one with nature. The bathroom is big and the kitchen is well equipped, in a open terrace and a lovely place to hang out.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The location of the lodge is right on the beach, which is awesome! The dorms are pretty nice and the beds are super comfy. Very nice restaurant with good food and drinks.
The location and setting of the lodge was one of a kind. Beautiful deserted beach in the middle of the jungle. It was impossible not to relax.
I'm vegetarian and they had an excellent selection of food at the restaurant.
While it's low season and some bookable activities were unavailable, the staff went out of their way to help me find interesting things to do on my days away from the lodge/beach.
The location off the beautiful Red Frog beach is the best feature of the place. The beach was not too crowded given we were off-season (April 18).The facilities are shaded by tropical / palm trees, well groomed.The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The beach cabaña we rented was very clean, including the bathroom. The short walk through the jungle to the lodge is beautiful and sets the relaxed vibe of the place.
Nice set up, lodges spread out with a separate community area with cool bar n restaurant and popular slide into the water! Rooms nice and spacey clean, staff helpful and friendly and food was very nice don’t miss out!
Easy check in and the free shuttle from the docks was easy to find and on time.
The lodges were absolutly as expected. Very quiet place and easy to chill. The property has kayaks and snorkel equipment. The diner and evening meal were very good and the staff were friendly.
