Excellent location, very quiet but close enough to walk into town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spotless. I would highly recommend Melbourne Lodge.
Comfortable beds and pillows. Great views. Restaurant food was great. The early breakfast time was very convenient for us visiting milford sound and buffet had a good variety of options. It had a great ski lodge feel and design. It was clean and the staff were very friendly.
The issue was that on booking.com, I explicitly booked "Lakefront Apartments" but the receptionist said we were given "The Lodges". However, the receptionist was fantastic and gave us an instant refund.
It’s a great location and feels like a ski lodge.
We didn’t have a room with a view which is a shame. Makes all the difference in QT!
Staff and facilities were lovely though.
We chose this hotel for the cute alpine winter ski lodge feel it gave off! our room was little but enough for us making it nice and cosy. Short walk into the town and all ski and tour bus services. Buffet breakfast service was brilliant and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.
