Definitely a bit on the more expensive side of things but worthwhile anyhow.

The accommodation is outside Spaarndam, the surroudings are pretty and peaceful - there's a dam with birds and swans nearby where we picnicked.
As we don't like cities that much we enjoyed riding around with the bycicles which are included with the accommodation.
We also enjoyed Spaarndam and went for a nice breakfast at Cafe de Buff.

Being at the Hotel Malts was more than a stay. It was an experience of the best kind: Bruges' charm pervades this quaint pension, providing a breakfast room where fellow lodgers mingle, magnified by management's cordiality. Henk and Annemarie make you feel personally invited to their home-away from home. The feeling is expressed in the wonderful breakfast offerings, conviviality and helpful advice. For us, the value of our stay was mostly received in the experience we received. A value of the first kind!
