Sherwood Lodge, hotel in Weston-super-Mare

Set 30 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station, 30 km from Bristol Cathedral and 31 km from Bristol Zoo Gardens, Sherwood Lodge offers accommodation situated in Cheddar.

The location was excellent and very friendly staff. The lodge was very clean, modern and had all the facilities we needed. Only a short walk away was Cheddar village where we shopped at sainsbury's for some essentials. On the Sunday we went to cheddar car boot sale which is actually a very large market too. Behind the lodge was a small river where we sat on a log and watched the trout and ducks, we even saw kingfishers flying past. We all loved our stay and will go back.

Everything was perfect! We had everything we needed for a nights stay. There was toiletries to have a shower and coffee, tea and bread for toast in the morning, Also jam if you wanted it. The outside bath was great. We used the bubble bath provided and had a romantic bath, it was raining but the Bath is under cover. The bed was comfy and had a good night sleep. I Liked the interior of the lodge was amazing with some brilliant antiques to marvel at! The manager/owner was amazing she did everything to cater our needs and always more than happy to help. Was our second stay there and after staying twice I can say it feels like a home from home will not be staying anywhere else when I come to weston-super-mare! Highly recommended!

The staff at Abbie Lodge were very friendly and accommodating, we arrived earlier than planned and the arrival time but they let us into our room which was spotless. Spacious room with everything that we needed in plus extras! Comfy beds, plenty of pillows and sockets near the bed, great location and not far from the centre and all its amenities.
