The grounds are beautiful. The pool and BBQ hut are fantastic and can be enjoyed whatever the weather. The lodge has all you need and the beds are comfy. The hosts are lovely and welcoming and their dogs give the best cuddles (but only if you want them!)

The host George was amazing. Extremely helpful and just lovely. The cabin was clean with eveything we needed. A nice touch of some homebaked scones were supplied too. He ensured our stay was outstanding and provided us eveything we needed. He even kept the hot tub hot for us. Would definitely recommend this property

Loved our stay at Tavistock Lodge! Great location and an easy walk to anywhere! Definitely recommend staying here and being greeted by Teddy the ginger cat every morning made the stay even more enjoyable.

Tavistock Lodge is perfect for an overnight stop. It is beautifully furnished and the bed is unbelievably comfy! The kitchenette is fine for a simple microwave meal and breakfast. Very helpful and friendly host.
We loved everything about the lodge. The Moors were only a 5 minute walk away. In a great location and we made the most of the beautiful weather visiting many places. It contained all kitchen utensils and much more. A delicious cake was also in the fridge as was milk. Very spacious inside with more than enough storage space. Plenty of nature to see and hear. There were sheep in a field on the doorstep. It was very secure for our dog who likes to have a wander. Fantastic! Would definitely recommend. The hosts were lovely.
Breakfast is and was superb and the service received was above and beyond my expectations After 15years the service is still outstanding. It is the first time I have stayed in the house and I prefer the lodges but it was still a great stay.
