Bend in the River Lodge, Stratford-upon-Avon is within 1 mile of the town centre. There is a river taxi service during the day near to the Lodge and takes you into the Marina.

Within 200 metres there is a restaurant and bar which overlooks the river, also a food store is within walking distance. There are one and a half miles of free fishing on the River Avon for guests of the Lodge (private licence only required). The property offers free parking.

    Everything was smooth and seem less from booking to our stay it was a quick one night visit but the lodge was very clean and had everything you needed! One negative comment was for a soap dispenser in the bathroom would be great. Thanks so much

    Everything, The lodge, the hosts, the breakfast all exceptional. The lodge is beautifully decorated with period furniture and pictures. Couldn't have asked for nicer hosts who go out there way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The continental breakfast was amazing and a great start to the day. Location is also nice and quiet with only a 3 minute train journey into town or a nice walk.

    The accommodation was excellent - the room was of a lovely size with plenty of room to relax. It was warm, the bed comfortable and ensuite really impressive. Silvana, our host, was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was tastefully thought about, plenty of choices and Silvana ensured there was plenty of everything. Victoria Spa Lodge is just a few miles outside of Stratford - 10 minutes at most drive at busy times. We wouldn't stay anywhere else and look forward to returning soon.

    The location was superb as we were a walking distance from our functions venue. I was impressed to see the accomodation was exactly as advertised. Good quality furnishing used. We felt at home. I had booked a lodge that I had previously stayed at, but cancelled it to book this property and saved myself over £300 and was just as satisfied.

    The property was close to town, clean tidy and staff were amazing! Bed was super comfortable …. Have been away for just in 4 weeks and have stayed in ALOT of hotels/motels/lodges/BnB’s and this bed would have been the most comfortable and the best nights sleep I have had. Carpark instructions sent prior to arriving, really easy instructions to follow and easily found. Breakfast in the morning was delicious!

    Lodge rooms external to the hotel building were fantastic. Hotel bar and restaurant were nice with 24 hour bar. Seating area outside the lodges were very nice for a morning coffee

    Relaxing location, makes a welcome change from the formulaic travel lodges. Very clean, pleasant staff, and Harry the cat was entertaining. Restaraunt food was good but limited choice, this is possibly to do with current situation, breakfast was excellent and the whole package was cheaper than any other travel lodge type in the area. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
