It is situated in a peaceful place and is usually only 15 minutes away from things to do/supermarkets to get food and drink from. The Lodges are a good size for guests and the jacuzzis are always well maintained/accessible. Being given some necessities on arrival ie toilet roll and a sponge add to the cleanliness and accessibility. Staff always polite and nice to speak to.
Featuring free WiFi, Bella vista lodge offers room-only accommodation in Blackpool. Coral Island is 300 metres from the property. Each room has an en suite bathroom and a flat-screen TV.

Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The room was very nicely furnished, the hotel was clean and the staff I spoke to were polite. Quite a big room for the money and stylish. I'm tall and could fit in the bath (unusual). It was much better than the average Travelodge/Premier Inn which are often the same cost per night, depending on location.
Great location and value for money was good.WE booked it becasue it worked out only a little bit more than the travelodge. It was also great that we could have 2 flats for our family in the same building
Calm and peaceful lodge. Everything was high quality. Lovely touches. Mini fridge with fresh milk in room was a real treat. Extremely thoughtful owners. Everywhere is sparkling clean.
Delicious breakfast in a stunning room
Highly recommend.
Arrived earlier that usual . The welcome was friendly , t have been, coming to the BALMORAL LODGE HOTEL SOUTHPORT for many years . I was very impressed the with my breakfast the bacon was as thick as a pork chop . I will be heading back home tomorrow . I come to Southport to visit a friend who has a few health issues . So coming back to the hotel and relaxing in my room with the radio in the background. Last night I slept 9 hours and ordered a Chinese take away . I would like to give a THUMBS UP.
The Bowden Lodge is just the right place you should stay in Southport. Jane was so kind, sweet and helpful during all my stay. The rooms and the whole building is spotless clean. The bathroom was full of new equipments, no molds, no humidity. I stayed in the single room with single bed, it was a small room but did not bother me at all. The breakfast was sooo delicious and good.
The lodge is cosy in some ways
Situated in a good location
Easy to find
Owners and staff we're really welcoming and were willing to switch our room as there was damage to the sink.
I have stayed at Balmoral Lodge Hotel a few times now. I arrived on the Tuesday and was met with a friendly smile. I was given a room on the ground floor which was very helpful. The breakfast was served with a lot of love and great choices . The good thing about were the Hotel is . There's a bus stop just outside the door. The weather was very cold but the room was cosy and hot. Leaving is always a sad time. So I've booked for 4 nights at the new year.
All good, would definitely stay at the Balmoral Lodge again.
