The historic cathedral city of Canterbury is just over an hour’s drive away and features a medieval centre with cobbled streets and timber-framed houses.

Full equiped little flat, everything was perfectly clean. We sayed only for one night but the surrounding with the pond and trees would easily let us stay longer.

    An absolutely stunning location! Easy to find and park (although limited parking but we had no issues!), the lodge was so clean, so spacious and very well decorated. The bed was comfortable, there were amenities on arrival which were appreciated and the hosts were lovely! The view out to the pond is lovely also and there is a nice seating area which had the weather been better we probably would have used! Great location to get to Cherry Barn which we did for a wedding.

    Wonderful, clean and cosy accommodation. The hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. Peaceful location, the added bonus with the pond view lodge is the beautiful view to wake up to in the morning. Will definitely stay again. 5-10 minute drive into Rye.

    The pond view was absolutely stunning and the accommodation was well beyond expectation. The lodge was refurbished to a high standard and was very comfortable. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and really made our stay special! We loved it so much that we will be going back again soon.

    Lodge was beautiful....very clean and well equipped .Loved our lodge, Pondview - patio doors opened onto a grassy area around the pond, with it's' koi carp. Lots of fairy lights, chairs to sit on outside....Complimentary milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits...

    John and Jackie were excellent hosts the lodge was clean and very comfortable and the surroundings beautiful, the food at the pub next door was fab and the staff lovely.

    The location is excellent and very peaceful and quiet the hosts were very friendly. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed and was superbly decorated and finished. The restaurant next door was great and served lovely food we will definitely come back for another stay......10 out of 10!

    Stayed 3 nights in the smaller lodge. Very friendly owners who immediately fixed a couple of problems with hot water and wifi. Milk and biscuits provided which is a nice touch.

    Beautiful lodge. Beautiful gardens and pond. Very helpful and friendly owners. Local to everything that's needed but still very peaceful. Great place to relax and unwind. Very much recommended
