Looking for a lodge?

Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Lovely bright, warm and modern lodge, the enclosed garden was nicely secure for our 3 dogs and easy to sweep hard floors made it even more dog friendly. Loved the hot tub and made use of the BBQ.

The Lodge accommodation was perfect for a couples weekend break. Great surroundings, fantastic room and facilities. Breakfast was very good . The restaurant was also superb, offering a great menu in a great atmosphere. Care from all staff was outstanding and we felt very welcomed. Home from home! I would most definitely recommend and would love to return for another stay in the future. Thank you Brasteds!

The Welcome pack was wonderful - home made goodies and bread plus milk , butter and eggs . Tea and coffee readily available . The Lodge was spotlessly clean and fully equipped. The Hosts are lovely , unobtrusive people who make a great effort to ensure a good stay for their guests. Thoroughly recommend a break in this little Lodge which was actually just big enough for our old Greyhound to have a great rest too !

when I arrived the lodges didn’t look that good from outside due to some wood and debris outside and it looked rough. However I was pleasantly surprised with the inside as was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Was like coming ‘home’ at end of day. It was a 15 minute walk into pretty Tombland part of city along the river. Great Chinese takeaway just the other side of the roundabout as well as fish and chips and little shop.

I normally stay in Travel Lodges but wanted a change while on business in Norwich and so glad I picked this place. Easy free parking, and although a pub is downstairs I had a large quiet room with lots of free extras (thanks for the torch and key ring) Excellent and more than ample cooked breakfast and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I left my phone charger behind and they kindly posted it on. Thanks Michelle for doing that. I will definitely stay at the William lV next time in Norwich and hopefully have time for a pint in the pub too.

Have been coming to Oakland’s for the last 12 years and seen a lot of changes. The bar and restaurant area look very clean and modern. Love staying at the lodges.
