This stay was amazing , a real back to the world we should live in . The mind clears and you have space and time to appreciate the natural beauty of life.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Very comfortable and brand new lodge. Thank you for the welcome pack - there is even a little welcome pack for dogs. Excellent location 5 mins walk from the Breweries and nice and quiet
Beautiful peaceful place. Lodges are well equipped and comfortable. Has everything you need for a luxury few days break. Hot tub was a great addition. We had a lodge with a lake view and it was lovely to see that outside our lounge window. A few niggling issues we had were dealt with once reported. We would be happy to return here.
Location was amazing not enough lighting given 2 rechargeable lights but could have done with 4 of those . 3 bottles of champagne for 2 lodges was a lovely touch for New years Eve.
The lodge had everything you could need and was furnished to a very high standard. The staff at reception were also very friendly and helpful, and keen to ensure we were comfortable.
Everyone connected to the Swinton Estate was helpful and friendly. The tree lodges at Swinton Bivouac were just magical. Candlelight, wood fires and hot tubs under the trees. Loved it!
