Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Feels a Travelodge in a great location in Manchester, albeit in an historic hotel.

The lodge is in a great location, close to Manchester City centre. We stayed as we haggled booked a gig at Emirates Old Trafford. The lodge is within the garden of the family house, but it still feels private enough. It’s only small but suits for a 1 or 2 night stay. The added breakfast snacks is a lovely touch.

Diamond Lodge was better than expected. On the outside it has the look of a budget hotel but inside there was an art deco vibe that we liked. It was located close to where we wanted to be and had plenty of free parking. The bedroom had all that we needed and the decor was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful The breakfast was good.

It is so easy to find. On a main road and very well signposted. Have travelled to Manchester often in the last 25 years. Usually stay in Travel lodges or Premier Inn. Never again will we settle for adequate. And value for money. This hotel knocks the spots off all of them. Value for money is off the scale. Such warm and comfortable surroundings. Everything was faultless. Will 100 per cent stay there in the future. The rest of the party stayed in one of their apartments, which was equally good 👍

The staff, very friendly. A bar (unused by us) Room was as good as the travel inns/lodges of the world. Spacious. Clean. Decent standard. The best 38 quid twin room I've EVER booked Genuinely, if I could rate it 11/10 I would, I really wasn't expecting something like that for the price
