Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Diamond Lodge was better than expected. On the outside it has the look of a budget hotel but inside there was an art deco vibe that we liked.
It was located close to where we wanted to be and had plenty of free parking.
The bedroom had all that we needed and the decor was nice.
The staff were friendly and helpful
The breakfast was good.
Room excellent & all the staff very pleasant.
Breakfast always very good.
Excellent location & easy to get to.
Very close to Belle Vue speedway stadium.
Stayed at the Diamond Lodge on many occasions.
The lodge was a lovely quiet spot adjacent to Heaton Park and a short drive from our gig in Manchester. Good facilities, very comfortable and breakfast items were provided making for a very relaxing stay. Good quick response to questions from the host. Convenient parking outside the property.
It is so easy to find. On a main road and very well signposted. Have travelled to Manchester often in the last 25 years. Usually stay in Travel lodges or Premier Inn. Never again will we settle for adequate. And value for money. This hotel knocks the spots off all of them. Value for money is off the scale. Such warm and comfortable surroundings. Everything was faultless.
Will 100 per cent stay there in the future. The rest of the party stayed in one of their apartments, which was equally good 👍
The staff, very friendly.
A bar (unused by us)
Room was as good as the travel inns/lodges of the world. Spacious. Clean. Decent standard.
The best 38 quid twin room I've EVER booked
Genuinely, if I could rate it 11/10 I would, I really wasn't expecting something like that for the price
Terrible. Worse hotel i have ever stayed in and i am a contractor who lodges away every week.
My family did not get a wink of sleep
