The lodge was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. A cosy home from home. The hosts Sonia and Dave were amazing and very helpful. Location close to towns and villages.
The initial welcome was friendly and genuinely customer focussed. All accommodation, food service and parking was explained fully and despite a busy evening when I arrived, I was assured that a table would be found if I wanted to eat without a booking.
I have stayed at a number of nationally well known such Inns and Lodges, but none come up to the natural friendliness of the staff (front of house and cleaning staff on my departure), amenities in the room and comfort of sleep.
Expensive for a hotel that is little better than a travelodge
